Macbook Won't Wake from Sleep
Many people are used to not shut down Macbook Pro/Air, after work or before going to bed. They prefer to directly cover the laptop stand. However, if one day after you cover the laptop, you find the notebook have not gone into standby mode, or after you turn cover the notebook, Macbook won't wake from sleep, how to do it?
There is a very tricky way - Reset the SMC (System Management Controller) of Macbook Pro/Air. Currently the new Macbook Pro/Air (battery can not be removed) can use the following methods to reset the SMC:
1. Turn off the computer.
2. Link the MagSafe power adapter (that is the power cord) to the power and the Mac (if not already connected).
3. On the built-in keyboard, press (left) Shift-Control-Option key and power button.
4. Also release all the keys and power button. Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: when you reset the SMC, the LED indicator on the MagSafe power adapter may be changed or temporarily closed.
How to determine the Macbook has entered the sleep mode?
For Macbook Pro, there is a light on the right hand sid. In the sleep mode, the indicator will issue a soft white light, and the computer will not produce any noise. For Macbook Air, you can listen to the Macbook Air, whether there is noise or not, or slightly open a little screen to see if it has been closed.
