Maasai Mara Is The land of the Maasai People, and the Great Wildebeest Migrations. This continuation of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania – and each year the Great Migrations criss cross the Masai Mara Serengeti Ecosystem in search of green pasture and water. The region is home to 13 globally threatened bird species and some of the highest bird diversities in the world. It is the major nesting and breeding ground for great white pelicans.
