Responsible for supervision and coordinate safety and fire fighting activities:
Launching of the safety management system in the plant.
Conform the Safety management system in the enterprise to the requirements of
OHSAS 18001.
Compliance with Egyptian legislations and OSHA regulations in different
activities in the plant.
Conduct and follow up the annual plant safety action plan.
Participate in Risk assessment and Hazard analysis for different activities in the
plant.
Conduct safety training sessions for both company employees and contractor
workers.

Participate in Risk assessment team and follow up of corrective actions
Participate in "Safety working groups" (Work at heights, Energy Isolation,
Confined spaces…etc) to determine Hazards, assessing Risk, set action plans and
follow up of corrective actions to insure safe working environment.
Conduct regular plant audits and inspections, and to provide recommendations
with follow-up to ensure Health & Safety performance improvement.
Conduct accident investigation and make sure all LTA and serious near-misses are
fully investigated, closed-out and suitably communicated.
Facilitate the plant Health & safety committees that are used as a platform to
advise and manage H & S topics and issues.
Follow up of the safety steering committees action plans and recommendations.
Prepare reports on plant Health & Safety activities' implementation, progress and

Follow up of firefighting activities in the plant.
Monitoring of environmental measurements in the plant.
