23 February, 2002 Work Procedures For Replacement M. # 55 Gas Engine & Generator

Ref. To The Above Mentioned Subject, Please Find Hereafter The Procedures To

Removing, And Reinstall M#55 OVH Gas Engine Generator Set. Procedures: -

1. Isolate Main Circuit Breaker & Put Loto ( O./P & E.&I.)2. Disconnect Generator Power And Control Cables ( E.&I.)

3. Override Fusible Loop. Signal & Remove Fusible Loop. Tubes Above The Engine And Plugged It ( E.&I.)

4. Remove The Override Signal ( E.&I.)

5. Closed The Engine Isolating Fuel Valve , Starting Motor Air Supply Valve & Apply Loto( O./P.& Mech. Maint.)6. Remove Engine Accessories ( M.M.)

7. Disconnect The Generator From The Engine ( M.M. )

8. Install Scaffold To Weld A Pad Eye At The Upper Deck I-Beam 24 Top Of The Engine To Suspend 5 Ton Chain Hoist And Perform Ndt For Welding ( M.M.)

9. Weld A Pad Eye At The Upper Deck I-Beam 8 Top Of The Radiator To Suspend 5 Ton Chain Hoist And Perform Ndt For Welding ( M.M.)

10. Lift The Radiator By Chain Hoist And Drag It To The Deck Floor By Taver ( M.M.)

11. Lift The Engine By Chain Hoist And Drag It To The Deck Floor By Taver ( M.M.)

12. Drag The Engine To The Monorail And Drag It To Loading Area ( M.M.)

13. Left The Engine By P./F. Crane And Put On The Boat To Send To R.Sh.( M.M. & Transportation)

14. Lift The Generator By Chain Hoist And Drag It To The Deck Floor By Taver ( M.M.)

15. Drag The Generator To The Monorail And Drag It To Loading Area ( M.M.)

16. Left The Generator By P./F. Crane And Put On The Boat To Send To R.Sh. ( M.M.& Transportation)

*** After Ovh And Send To P.F.

17. Left The Generator By P./F. Crane From The Boat To The Floor Deck ( Transportation)

18. Lift The Generator By Chain Hoist Monorail And Drag It Beside The Skid ( M.M.)

19. Lift The Generator By Chain Hoist And Put On The Skid ( M.M.)

20. Left The Engine By P./F. Crane From The Boat To The Floor Deck ( M.M.)

21. Lift The Engine By Chain Hoist Monorail And Drag It Beside The Skid ( M.M.)

22. Lift The Engine By Chain Hoist And Put On The Skid ( M.M.)

23. Drag The Radiator And Put On The Skid By Chain Hoist ( M.M.)

24. Assemble The Engine Accessories ( M.M.)

25. Assemble The Generator To The Engine ( M.M.)

26. Override Fusible Loop. Signal & Reconnect Fusible Loop. Tubes Above The Engine

27. Remove The Override Signal

28. Reconnect Power And Control Cables

29. Remove Loto Of Main Circuit Breaker &Isolating Valves To Be Ready For Operation ( O./P., E.&I. And M.M.)

Safety Precaution

Cold Work Permit Must Be Issued

Hot Work Permit Must Be Issued

Isolation Certificate Must Be Filled At Location Work.

Lock Out &Tag Out Should Be Applied

Pre-Job Safety Meeting Should Be Held &Use Personal Safety Gears

A Copy Of This Procedures Must Be Available On Job Location
