    Electrocution OLE Death Pre-Use inspection Before use the umbrella shall be inspected to confirm: a) The umbrella is numbered and has an approval certificate. b) The umbrella is in good condition. ECR notification The ECR shall be informed in writing that work is to take place inside 2.75 metres (9 feet) and notified on completion, to ensure that re-energisation is not initiated without consultation until the work is completed. Team Briefing The entire team shall be

    briefed that the OLE is Live and which Tools /Equipment, can be used,

    Approved welding umbrella, welding equipment, slewing bars and straight edges these shall not be raised above head height.

    All staff within the working party shall sign the briefing form and confirm understanding.

    OLE Major Injury The competence to use the umbrella under live OLE must be recorded in the welders competence record card.
