IWC launches the Portofino Collection

eye care to some of the

developing regions.

�A special watch ± the Hour Vision Blue ± has been

created to celebrate the

partnership and Omega has

guaranteed that at least one

million U.S. dollars from its

sale will be donated to

Orbis.



Bottega Veneta known for its

famous hand bags, wallets andcard cases has unveiled its first

watch, BVX, a unisex timepiece

produced in collaboration with

the Sowind Group, owner of

Girard-Perregaux.



�Audemars Piguet is offering an ideal

accompaniment to Valentine¶s Day in

the shape of its Jules Audemars Men

and Ladies Timepiece collection.

�The watches feature a ³Spiral´ motif

and are topped with a gold bezel set

with a row of brilliant-cut diamonds.



�Swiss watchmaker Omegas famous

revival of the Ladymatic name, one of the brands earliest collections especially

for women, started with an amazing

launch in Beijing in 2010 and continued

in 2011 in Hong Kong.

�The press presentation featuredelements of the entire collection and

used a special performance involving

a juggler and a crystal ball housing

the Ladymatics Omega Co-Axial

calibre to illustrate the poetry of time.



�Geneva watchmaker Vacher on

Constantin unveiled a major

horological achievement at the

Salon International de la HauteHorlogerie 2011, a watch that

displays all 37 time zones in the

world simultaneously.

�Featuring a newly developed

automatic mechanical movement,

calibre 2460WT, Vacheron

Constantin is now alone in being

able to display time correctly

everywhere on earth. With this,

Vacheron Constantin triumphantly

matches its own celebrated

achievement in 1957 of having

introduced the world¶s first

wristwatch with the world time

complication.





�With the slimmest profile in luxury

watch making to its credit, Swiss

watchmaker and jeweler Piaget is

adding much depth to its Altiplanocollection of watches. There¶s a

raft of new watches under the

Altiplano banner but these two,

which become available in 2012,

showcase the company¶s

dedication to the spirit of artisanal

craftsmanship.

�Mythical animals in Chinese culture

inspired these two gem-set Altiplano

watches. It is of course no surprise to

see the Imperial Dragon ± executed

on the dial via cloisonné enamellings ±

given that 2012 is the Year of theDragon on the Chinese calendar .



�Panerai unveiled several spectacular

material innovations at SIHH 2011,

including a host of beautiful new

timepieces.

�One of the highlights of the new

range is the Radiomir 3 Days Platino

47mm which is being produced in 199

numbered units

�Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis

has revealed an entirely new

collection at SIHH 2011, using the

Sympathie case that debuted in

1996. With La Monégasque, Roger

Dubuis is moving beyond its strategyof offering pieces purely in limited

series while at the same time

retaining the bold and clever

aesthetic touches unique to the

brand.



�VanCleef & Arpels has unveiled itsCharms Mini watch, a smaller version of the renowned Charms timepiece.

�It features the brand¶s iconic, diamond-set

Alhambra motif which is attached to the

side of the case via a ring and turns freelyaround the dial.



�Audemars Piguet has unveiled one of the

highlights of SIHH 2011, its new Millenary

Minute Repeater.

�Equipped with a winding system specially

developed for its hand-wound Calibre

2910, the timepiece is housed in an oval,

titanium case and sports gold subdials.



�A. Lange & Söhne scooped 17

international awards in 2010, thewatchmaker¶s 165th anniversary year.

�With four prizes including the prestigious

³red dot design award´ (Product Design

category) the Lange Zeitwor k confirmed

itself as one of the brand¶s leading lights(below).



�Zenith has launched its Facebook

page and to mar k the milestone

the watchmaker has organised achallenge with an El Primero

Striking 10th Chronograph up for

grabs.

�The game invites players to start

the chronometer and stop it atspecific tenths of a second ±

allowing 3/10ths of a second error

margin. The player then proceeds

to the next level until a mistake is

made and the gamer who

amasses the highest score will winthe timepiece.



The new Piaget Altiplano collection

includes the world¶s thinnest automatic

watch and the world¶s thinnest automaticmovement. It also features a couple of

watches that put new and interesting faces

on time, literally
