Foreword

The luxury industry has become an increasingly complex and competitive market, in which we are

all committed to serving demanding customers and delivering excellence on a daily basis.

To succeed in our mission, it is essential to collaborate with those who share this same quest

practices and strategies that rule our industry. Ultimately, those professionals who can match a

luxury buyer’s demanding set of expectations.

Following our series of LS Local events in Paris, London, Milan, New York, Geneva, Los Angeles,

Munich, Moscow, Dubai, Mumbai, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Sao Paulo, we discovered that the

search for a PR company, digital agency, distributor or even sourcing personnel, presents a series of

challenges for executives entering new markets.

Leveraging the collective knowledge of our vast network and drawing on the insights uncovered

around the world, during LS Locals, we have put together a series of regional guides, recommending

the best service providers, agencies, consultants and luxury experts that can make a difference to

businesses. Those chosen have been included because of their long-term experience working with

Our listings are of course, non-exhaustive, but with more than 20,000 members from 150 countries,

we feel we have a front-row understanding of who does what in our key markets.

If there are companies not included in our listings that we need to know about, please send through

details to [email protected] and we will be happy to consider them in future issues of

our guides. They will also be featured in our online directory, which currently lists more than 1600

suppliers to luxury brands (www.luxurysociety.com/directory).

We, at Luxury Society, sincerely hope our market guides and directories will enable you to source,

select and connect with the partners best placed to make a difference to your business.

France is the tenth largest economy in the world in purchase parity terms;; GDP stands at $2.6 tr. With at

least 75 million foreign tourists per year, France is the most visited country in the world and maintains the

third largest income in the world from tourism.

Traditionally the French placed a great emphasis on investing in infrastructure. The state has a strong

one that relies more on market mechanisms. The government has partially or fully privatized many large

France’s real GDP contracted 2.5% in 2009. While it recovered somewhat in 2010, its growth is still

additional, more costly, reforms until after the 2012 election.

France is highly exposed to bank debts from Greece, Italy and Spain, raising concerns over its ability to

meet its share of any new Euro-zone bail-out commitments.

A New Generation Agency

Digital and technology is an everyday part of our lives. It has created new behaviours and habits, and makes us all interconnected – both as consumers and as brands.

Today, it’s possible to create meaningful relationships in real-time, brand-to-people, or simply people-to-people through brands. In this everchanging world, we help our clients to move from a display approach to a consumer engagement strategy.

Our conviction is that everything starts with the brand platform - which allows us to develop innovative ideas that create the right brand image, the best customer journey and most memorable emotional

Ideas that radiate and transform. From a new generation agency.

We are one of the world’s top 5 PR and events networks and are made up of more than 2,500 people across 22 countries. Together, we cover virtually every discipline required for our clients to creatively engage with their audiences 27/7. We do this across a wide range of speciality practice areas: Reputation management, Consumer communications, Healthcare, Financial communications, Public affairs, Employee engagement, Events and Social media.

As a network with strong roots in France, continental Europe and the U.S., and a rapidly growing Asian voice, MSLGROUP is unlike

network that embraces change and diversity.

Established in 2009, MSLGROUP was born into the conversation economy – today’s real-time marketplace of communities where people are willing to engage with brands and companies in deeper ways and in more places than ever before – as long as those brands and companies offer substantial value and relevance in exchange for people’s time and attention.

At MSLGROUP we believe there exists a unique opportunity to combine the storytelling and narrative discipline of the communication arts with the creative, production and cross-channels attributes of digital marketing and advertising to engage people with brands. By tapping into our creativity, engaging people and communities in conversation and delivering real value, we seek to be our clients’ most trusted advisor, helping them to evolve their organisations into world-class relationship development and response engines that will become the hallmarks of the modern communications and advertising industries in today’s conversation economy.

Portraiture

A fearless transatlantic creative hubThat aims to cultivate a unique esthetic that combines strategic planning with visionary ideas. We engage with brands as a business development partner and work closely with our clients to develop breakthrough concepts and content that we disperse across traditional media, digital, and experiential marketing. We aim to create conversations between the brand and the consumer and manage insights to create brand utility with a strong focus on materialization to sales and growth and not just limited to brand visibility and recognition. We use each media as a custom platform to extend the brand’s voice and begin this discourse.

Manifesto

What we believe inThese past few years we have seen the media landscape change radically and expand on so many new channels. It’s become incredibly hard to build an integrated approach that has brand consistency and message

it. More than ever we believe in big ideas, emerging platforms, and branded content. They bring a new level of emotional connections between a brand and its consumers. We understand the consumer ecosystem and how the digital ecosystem is married into that. We understand the multichannel, integrated approach that needs to take place globally.

Based in Paris, but working with brands all over the globe, QualiQuanti is a market research company specializing in qualitative research.

quantitative and qualitative research techniques in order to obtain actionable insights and deliver rich, operational results.

Having surveyed many marketing initiatives and communications over the past 20 years, QualiQuanti has gained considerable experience in

of advertising such as branded content and branded entertainment.

Over the past 5 years, the company has reviewed and analyzed hundreds of operations released across the globe. This research has culminated in a book, published in September 2009: Brand Content, comment les marques se transforment en Medias (Brand Content: how brands turn into Medias).

consultancy, notably with the launch of the subscription-based survey

Enriched by this double expertise, in September 2010, the company released a white paper Brand(ed) content & Luxury Communications*. In this document, we argue that brands, especially luxury brands, can no longer use traditional advertising methods to communicate with their audience, but should also implement global content strategies to create attachment to their brand and truly engage their audience.

As a result, QualiQuanti is now also helping companies implement content strategies within their main communications plans, notably working with many luxury brands.*You can request your free White Paper to Daniel BO: [email protected]
