The name, Augustus House, is inspired by Prince William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland. Prince William Augustus was made a Ranger of Windsor Forest and lived in the Rangers’ Lodge for the later part of his life. The Estates Management team are on-site 24 hours a day to ensure the smooth running of the development and provide an exceptional support service. Additionally there are an array of first class facilities for you to enjoy at your leisure, from socialising in the bistro and club lounge to relaxing with a treatment in the salon.

Your Life Management Services are a registered provider accommodating flexible support packages at all McCarthy & Stone Retirement Living Plus developments. A qualified, passionate Estates Management team are on-site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, who attribute the highest level of professionalism and not only support you with your daily needs, but are also a friendly neighbour. At Augustus House, one hour of domestic assistance per week is included in your service charge.

Additional support is provided and tailored to suit your needs, so you only pay for the services if and when you require them. Additional support can be from as little as 15 minutes a week, up to as many hours you may need, all provided for by the Estates Management Team, each of whom you will get to know and trust.

Domestic assistance

The team can help you with household tasks such as cleaning and changing the bed or running errands, such as shopping for groceries and posting letters.

Personal assistance

The team can help with personal assistance adapted to suit your needs, whether it be assisting with going to bed and getting up in the morning or helping you get to and from appointments.

Lifestyle assistance

The team can provide companionship and support you in however you like to spend your time away from your apartment, whether that is a trip to the theatre or visiting friends outside the development.

24 hour laundry assistance

There is a laundry room in the development, however if you prefer, the team can assist you with your laundry requirements. They will collect your laundry from your apartment and return it washed and ironed within 24 hours.
