Florida’s AllureFlorida has long been a destination for weary eyed travellers since Ponce de León first arrived on the shores of St. Augustine in northeast Florida. The Miami LifeExperience the Magic City

Miami is one of the fastest growing cities in America and has long been known as an eccentric place, with its Art Deco architecture, daring fashions and quirky attractions. The Latin vibe, perfect weather, dynamic

restaurant scene and exclusive night clubs are just some of reasons Miami attracts celebs, movie stars and the “it” crowd to its shores.

Vanguard collectors head to the Wynwood Arts District, boasting a tropical SoHo vibe and more than 100 galleries. This emerging neighbourhood is home to the amazing Wynwood Walls. The open-air park dedicated to cutting-edge museum quality contemporary urban murals forms part of Miami’s new Midtown area, which features trendy boutiques, cafes and lounges. One of the most interesting spots to visit is the Rubell Family Collection, one of America’s most important and edgy collections of contemporary art.

The 820,000 gallon (3.1 million litres) swimming pool built in 1923 from a coral rock quarry is considered one of the world’s most unique and breathtaking municipal swimming pools. The pool is spring-fed and the beautiful coral rock keeps the water cool even in the summer sun. Two waterfalls and cave-like grottos make the experience even better.

For a Cuban twist, check out Little Havana. Have a game of dominoes, purchase hand rolled Cuban cigars, sip on an authentic tasting mojito and take in all the cool colourful art. Time it right and you can attend Viernes Culturales (Cultural Fridays) a monthly event taking place on the last friday of each month which turns Calle Ocho (Eighth Street) into an outdoor art gallery and festival.
