Introduction
Mexico is located in North America as many of you already know. Mexico has a variety
of different beautiful tourism places. Mexico a country built over Aztec and Mayan civilizations
and introduced chocolate, chills and corn to the world. Mexico has in its biggest exports
petroleum because it contains a lot of refineries in the Gulf of Mexico. The exports an imports
are very diverse because it located in such a perfect spot, having the USA and Central America
bordering it. Mexico is one of the most powerful third countries with the hopes of leaping into
the first world.
The IMP project will mostly consist of an explanation of what is one major issue the country is
facing. With over nine million people being affected in one city and many millions in scattered
cities. Air pollution has been one of Mexico City biggest issue, as well as the worlds. A non-
profit organization will be founded in behalf to reduce the effects air pollution has on humans.
The report will give more information on what the issue consists of, how and the problem is
nation wide, how the non-profit originations is going to help, and how you the people can help us
change the world,
Before the issue is stated and the non-profit is initiated and solves the problem, you have to
become an expert of Mexico itself. For it to be
possible a better understanding of Mexico’s current
conditions would be great with a, geographical area
analysis, economy, transportation, education, and
population. Furthermore, the culture of Mexico would
also be shown, diet and nutrition, housing, language,
religion, and recreation and leisure. Finally, in order
to understand how Mexican laws work by its, political
system, labor, trading, and customs.
Lastly, the IMP or the International Marketing Project
is completed in order for people to gain a genuine understanding of what the current issues and
economy the truly fascinating country of Mexico is going through. With the ultimate goal, for
the major issue to be presented with a resolving non-profit organization.
Issue
Identifying an Issue - How to undergo a better system to have better air quality in Mexico City.
Research Writing – What does air pollution cause? For the body paragraphs I will elaborate on
my idea on having better air quality in Mexico City. In the last paragraph I will conclude why
my idea will work.

Essay– Air pollution is a result of both natural and human causes. The biggest cause for air
pollution is natural cause, which include forest fires, volcanic eruptions, wind erosion, and many
more. The second biggest factor is human activities. For example, emissions from industries and
manufacturing companies, burning fossil fuels, and agricultural chemicals. From various of these
causes Mexico City has been facing air pollution problems, at a rate of one of the worst years in
the history. Mexico was considered one of the cleanest air quality city to the dirtiest in span of a
generation (esschooltoday). What’s the best prevention Mexico is taking to lower the air
pollution? How does it affect the health or people going through Mexico City daily? Mexico will
and has been trying to prevent air pollution because of the need of Mexico City’s air quality to
get better.
Air pollution is and has been one of the worst problems in Mexico City. Without air life on earth
is impossible, which means we need clean air in order to survive. Air pollution contains dust,
fumes, and gases, which are harmful for humans and animals to live in the area with air
pollution. Humans have dumped wastes into the atmosphere that cope with natures activity in
emitting harmful gasses or fumes into the air (epa). According to epa more pollution has been
added in major cities from industrial, commercial, and domestic sources. When the gases or
other harmful substances get too high for it to be considered unsafe, then the country has a
pollution problem in their hands. Finally, air pollution can cause very complex problems, like
upper atmosphere ozone depletion or global warming (epa)
Air pollution has a serious affect in human health. A study showed that air pollution affects the
heart in young people. The study showed that air pollution can damage the heart and have a
greater risk at a heart disease (sciencedaily). Other big health factors in breathing sir pollution
daily is a reduction in lung function, irritation in eyes, nose, mouth and throat, and asthma
attacks. Other affects that air pollution can cause is a reduction in energy levels, headaches and
dizziness, and respiratory disease. The most serious problems that can occur in inhaling bad air
quality is cancer and cardiovascular problems. All these problems are why Mexico is in an
urgency to have a better air quality (tropical-rainforest-animals).
Mexico City has four severe categories and two heavy in
the most polluted cities. (biophysics).
Air pollution is a big problem worldwide because of the
affects it causes in humans. There’s immense amount
benefits in reducing air pollution. It mostly benefits in one
way, to help reduce the half factors. Nobody wants to have
heart problems or 2700 people dying in one city annually.
People around air pollution cities want to walk around the
city, not having to worry about the air quality. The world
doesn’t want cancer, lung problems, or even cardiovascular problems. Henceforth, it is important
for cities around the world to take serious preventions in how to prevent and eliminate air
pollution for the behalf of the health of humans. Finally, Mexico City should start more
preventions to prevent air pollution to grow.

Mexico City has suffered from air pollution since the beginning of this year. Mexico City has
implementation a rule that certain cars cannot circulate for a day to keep the air pollution from
increasing. Since last week about 40% of cars don’t circulate in a day. My idea in order to have
better air quality is that I want to merge my idea with the Mexican Government. I want people to
get free bikes. Then they have to use their free bikes three times a week. This would mean less
fossil fuels getting burned. Also the air quality would increase in a positive way. This would
prevent the usage of cars. Only bikes can be used. With all this there would be a lower
percentage of health factors coming from air pollution. Finally, the project can insure the
safeness of the citizens of Mexico City.
Non-Profit Non-Profit Name – The Ride a Bike for a Nation Organization
Mission Statement - The Ride a Bike for a Nation Organization mission statement is to develop
a stable good air quality by serving the public with free bikes. Thus, by maintaining a high
number of people riding bikes there would be less cars driven around Mexico City. Indicating
less fossil fuels in the atmosphere, which would lead to a better air pollution in the Mexico City.
What We Do – In Mexico there is a program called Hoy No Circula. The Program means that a
personas car cannot be on the road for one day a week in the 18 counties in the Estado de Mexico
with the solely purpose of having a better air quality (Noticias.starmedia). With that idea I
would like to merge my idea with the Estado de Mexico idea. By not having cars circulating
once a week and giving free bikes to people to ride them over cars will lower the air pollution.
The purpose of the Bike Air Quality is to decrease the amount of air pollution in the Mexican
City’s atmosphere.
The Bike Air Quality would be organized in steps. First, the organization would need to collect
money from partnerships and donors. Furthermore, the government needs to be contacted of
what we are going to do for their sponsorship. Henceforth, with the money collected the
organization will need to buy nice looking good quality bikes and store them. The fourth step
would donate free bikes to all the lower society class, so they don’t have to make an effort to buy
cars to make the pollution even worse. The fifth step is to give free bikes to young adults and
adults. Thus, the majority of the students in Mexico City have to ride bikes to school. By just
implementing these steps the air quality would be better than what it has been in the past few
months. The sixth step is to give free bikes to all ages and all the ones who are excited to help the
ride a bike for a nation. The final step is to have a good relation with the government, so they can
make bikes roads or alleys for it to be safe for people to ride bikes around the city.

As every organization or business there is going to be advertisement, so people know what’s
going on. For example, the organization is planning on advertising in popular stores, social
media, roads and t.v. The announcement on all these platforms would be ride a bike for a nation
whose future is on your hands. Mexicans deserve to breath good air quality, as it used to be in
the 1950’s. By implementing the bike project there will be less cars circulating in Mexico, which
would mean less burning fossil fuels. Thus, the air quality would increase in positive way.
Ways You Can Help –
1. Donate Money – Any Donation is good for the future of Mexico
Let’s stop the risk of getting heart disease or any other health issue related to air pollution
Let’s give our children a better environment when there out playing in playgrounds in
school or in Chapultepec Park
Let’s represent our country worldwide
Who want to have a better atmosphere
2. Donate Bikes– We are going to buy bikes from different places worldwide to then sell them for an
outstanding price of zero dollars to the people who need it and want to help the nation.
3. Volunteer your time Community services for those students you need it
Internships for all ages
The good hearted people who just want to help
Famous people who want to give their nation back what they have gave them
Partnership - One of the partnerships would be the Mexican government because they would help the
organization. To have success in having good air quality. The government will help us give the
word to all people living in Mexico City to ride bike for a nation. They would benefit by having
no problems with the air quality and people complaining.
TelMex would give us money and their benefit back is more fame around Mexico for being one
of the causes of having no pollution in Mexico. This would lead to people buying more TelMex
or using it.
Liga Mx would be our third partnership because they could put advertisement while games are on
every weekend and we would put their logos on our brochures to get more people to go to their
stadiums and see soccer matches.
Geographical Area Analysis
From beaches to volcanoes to peninsulas. Mexico is full of beauty that is hidden because
violence over captures its beauty. Mexico contains all the terrain you can think of. From deep
canyons to mountains. Being one of the most underrated countries in the world based on its
economy (oddizzai). Surprisingly, it’s a land of opportunities because being a small economy to
one of the most diverse in the world. This is the reason why many investors are being attracted
(Koba,Mark). When talking about business attractions the investors first have to know the setting

of the country. When talking about the setting it’s key to garnish topics about Mexico’s location,
topography, and climate.
Mexico is located in North America with the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea engulfing
the shores of Mexico’s eastern beaches. While the Pacific Ocean is on the west. Its land
neighbors include the United States of America (north), Guatemala (south east), and Belize
(south east). As its major cities are Mexico City (capital), Monterrey, Tijuana, Veracruz (chief
port city on the Gulf of
Mexico), Puebla, and
Querétaro (one of the
cleanest cities in the
world). Because
Mexico has water and
land bordering it. It can
ship via water which
would take a long time
but less money, while it
can also go on ground
which is more time for
the shipment to get to
its destination. Via air
is another option, but
its more money than
other options. Canada-
Mexico have a great
trading relationship by
being the third most
bilateral trading
partners in the world
(Canada Internationals).
The southeastern states are known for its typical tropical weather because of the warm waters of
the Caribbean Sea. Mexico’s climate is very diverse; it can go from tropical to desert. Northern
Central Mexico is mostly desert and semi-desert, the very northern west is Mediterranean,
central is mostly Temperate, and both west and east coastlines plus the southern part of Mexico
is Tropical or Subtropical (geo-mexico). The Tropical areas, Pacific Coast, and the Yucatan
Peninsula on yearly average receive from 1000mm to 1500mm of rainfall. While others parts
like northern Mexico only receive approximately 200mm to 300mm (current results). Shipping
through ground in the northern states could cause a problem because of its arid conditions.
Mexico has pleasant summers and mild winters. It averages 18 degrees Celsius a year. It can
have some strong rainy storms in the afternoon, so some isolated tornadoes can occur. Also
during hurricane season it's common to see hurricanes in the coastal area. Shipping wouldn't be a
good choice throughout sea because of the problems it could encounter (Weather and Climate).
Finally, Mexico has fine weather for shipping equipment throughout the world in various forms
for business.

The temperate climate in central Mexico makes a good weather for a business man
The tropical coastlines make Mexico primer tourist destination.
Mediterranean is perfect for hotels to be establish in
The Subtropical is perfect for distribution of goods
Popular attractions like Los Cabos is perfect to elaborate and make a business like a hotel
or apartment.
As already addressed, Mexico can go from tropical to desert areas. The country has a lot of
tropical and temperate areas, which will cause no problem for distribution. It has one main
mountain range; the Sierra Madres. This would cause no problem for the distribution of goods
because of its moderate weather in the mountain area. México’s mild winters and pleasant
summers are perfect conditions for shipping goods (planetware). One of the most popular
attractions is Teotihuacan, which is a civilization from 2nd century BC where people can see the
Pyramids of Sun that were built around 100 AD. While being only 31 miles east of Mexico City,
business can thrive from history tours, helicopter tours, and many more. Cozumel is another
attraction, which is located in the Yucatan Peninsula (south east). Is famous for scuba diving and
snorkeling. It was discovered in 1959, since then it's been called a National Marine Park to
protect its delicate coral reefs and tropical fish (touropia). The diversity of different Mexican
attractions like Los Cabos should bring a lot of businesses to elaborate different business around
this country.
Mexico has everything a person can imagine in its geographic features. From a mild winter,
rainy areas, desert, and pleasant summers. Mexico contains different ways in being successful in
running a business. By doing the job of researching the country and knowing in depth about its
market you’ll thrive when setting up a business. Also the beauty of the land should help bump
that business a step higher than what it normally would have been. Henceforth, looking for
Mexico’s hidden beauty can change your life in one day. Don’t just sit there, come on it's a
unique opportunity.
Economic Analysis 1
Classification: Mexico is Capitalism, which means mostly all trade and industrial business are privately
owned. (Foreign Policy)
Description: Mexico is mostly classified as a capitalism because most of its companies throughout the
country are privately owned (The World Fact Book). There are exceptions like Pemex (Mexican
petroleum), which is state owned. Capitalism is known to be privately owned, therefore its open for
competition. There is mixture of capitalism and socialism to keep people from owing everything to end
with only capitalism. Socialism is a trade or industrial business that the government owns. Communism is
not mixed in Mexican economy, which is property that is public owned and people get paid based on their
skills and needs (Google definitions).

Economic Statistics and Activity
Resources:
Renewable
Hydropower is a system where water is captured and transformed into electricity (renewable
energy world). Hydropower is the highest renewable energy resource in the country (science
direct).
Solar energy is waves of light or heat from the sun, which is transformed into renewable energy
(renewable energy world). Mexico has high expectation for solar energy because it’s ideal
location in the Solar Belt (science direct).
Wind energy gets air flow through wind turbines to mechanically generate energy (renewable
energy world). Wind energy is concentrated in five different zones of the country especially
Oaxaca (science direct).
Geothermal energy is heat from the earth like hot water and hot rocks found beneath the earth
(renewable energy world). Mexico is ranked the 4th country that uses geothermal energy
worldwide wide (science direct).
Biomass energy is the stored energy in plants and when those plants are burned the energy is
released as heat (epa). Mexico has highest potential because it has the highest number of research
in the last 20 years (science direct).
Unrenewable
Oil is a sticky liquid that is derived from petroleum and used especially as a fuel. Oil a big factor
in the Mexican economy generating 13% of the country’s export earnings in 2013 (emaze).
Coal is black, combustible material, and is use for energy. Coal is only about four percent of
Mexico’s energy and their small imports from United States, Canada, and Colombia for domestic
supplies (Geni).
Natural Gases is a gas mixture mostly containing methane. Natural gases are mostly produced in
the southeastern part of the country with the main goal to increase Burgos production (Geni).

This means the growth of the GDP
over a period of one year in
percentage. Basically it’s the rate of
change of one country gross domestic

Also inflation could affect this rate
that is measured every year. Finally,
the real growth rate basically is a

Problems of Scarcity – Mexico has a big problem in its nation right now and it is water crisis. Mexicans
are in a war right know because they want clean and good quality water. They protest on national water
day that water is not a business it’s for humans to use it. Henceforth, close to 5 million Mexicans are
currently in Mexico without usage to clean water. But all this water crisis is supposed to calm down when
a water provision goes to the private sector, which says it going to have better water than the government
of Mexico. More than 81% of Mexican people don’t drink tap water because they don’t trust it’s clean.
Also Mexico leads the world with more bottles water consumption with about 125 gallons per person
each year. Finally, tens to thousands of Mexicans are going to continue to protest for a water reform.
Balance of Payments - Mexico has a trade surplus of approximately $24.3 billion. (Atlas.media)
Trade Balance - Mexico has a positive trade of balance 24.3 billion dollars. Mexico has a positive trade
balance because it shows that it’s the 23rd most complex country in the world. Mexico’s exports 230
products with comparative advantage. This means that its global shares of exports is bigger that what it
normally was, accepted from the size of a products global market. Thus, that Mexico exports go to the
outside world because of its crude refiners in the Gulf of Mexico. Finally, Mexico is looking for the
evolution of the country’s export structure. (Atlas.media)
Exchange Rates - The exchange rate is only benefitting one side. It’s benefiting the tourism coming from
the United States of America. This is because when the tourists come, they exchange their dollars to pesos
meaning they have more money to pay things that are cheaper in Mexico that the US. Thus, they’re going
to have more money to spend on. Even though the prices in Mexico are still going up, the prices are

cheaper compare to the prices in the United States of America. Finally, this affects Mexicans because they
have to pay more for the things they have to buy.
Name of the Currency - The name of the Mexican currency is the Mexican Peso.
Current Rate of Exchange – According to XE currency converter there is $17.477 Mexican Peso for
every Dollar.
Inflation Rate –
(Trading Economics)
Inflation is the rate where general
prices of goods and services are
staying at standard level. If the
goods and services rise, the
purchasing power of currency
would fail. Thus, the central banks
try to limit inflation to avoid
deflation for the further result of an
economy running smoothly.
Finally, this graph indicates that
Mexico and Australia have an
economy that is running smoothly
and in the other hand Brazil and
Nigeria are having trouble running their economy in the past few years.
Unemployment Rate –
(Tradingecnomics
This means how many
people are employed
compared to how many
people are unemployed.
According to this graph
Mexico has the lowest
unemployment Rate with
4.15%. Brazil in Australia
are in the median average
around the world in
unemployment rates. Finally,
Nigeria has the highest
unemployment rate of all three, but not of the world. To add this proves people wrong about there being
no jobs in Mexico. It has a low unemployment rate.

Political System Introduction- The key components of the Mexican government are that it has three branches like the US
(executive, judicial, and legislative). With three competitive parties there is a lot of work for business to do
because of what each party can do for them. Also if you’re a business man from outside the country in parts
like Europe or the US then Mexico is great for the business. The reason is because they all have a similar
government and there is no need for adaption. There are political parties trying to get more labor money for
the high and low skill labor because the prices of everything is going up. Finally, With the current president
Enrique Pena Nieto there are going to be a lot of reforms for the poo people to get access to things they
don’t. Thus, there is going to be a better environment for business to be establish in Mexican ground.
Government Type/ Political Structure - Mexico is a democracy/federal republic. It’s a democracy
because it has three branches judicial, executive, and legislative. Also it has representative for each state
with senates. Henceforth, it’s a federal republic because all the states retain power of self-government, but
ultimately the president of the country has the decision over reforms, but the states can make reforms for
individual things. (IndexMundi)
Branches of Government - Mexico has three branches in it system of government the Executive, Judicial,
and Legislative. The Executive branch is where the President Enrique Pena Nieto is the head chief of the
Mexican government. The president then has a cabinet (high-ranking advisers), which includes general
attorney, head of the Bank of Mexico, and senior treasury. The Mexican Legislative branch includes Senate
and each is elected by popular vote to serve six years. There is 128 seats with 98 elected by popular vote
while the other 32 are allocated by their party’s popular vote. There is also the Chamber of Deputies (500
seats, 300 are elected by popular vote and 200 by each party’s popular vote) who server for a term of three
years. Finally, there is the Judicial branch is where the supreme court of justice is. The Supreme Court of
Justice is elected by the President and must have two-thirds of the votes of the senate. The Supreme Court
of Justice contains 11 justices.
Political Parties - Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) – Was establish in 1929 by President Plutarco
Elias Calles. It a party that wants to bring more stability to the government and this party wants to bring
more reforms that is going to help the country from its institutional. The current president of Mexico is
from the PRI. Corruption scandals and economic challenges are testing the ability of this party to move
forward. Mexico PRI tries to challenges development, poverty, and inequality in Mexican people.
(Britannica)
National Action Party (PAN) - Was founded in 1939, but didn’t have success until 1989. The Pan party is
to bring reforms to help the current administrations. Also the Pan strongest aspect is that it has a lot of
strong entities. This party likes to fight against the violence and, make a healthy and honest government.
(mexicoinsituitionalelections)
Democratic Revolution Party (PRD) – was founded in 1986 with a group of pro-reform. The party is in
problems because its leaders don’t have confidence in themselves in winning the presidential race.
It was created because of potential frauds in the opposing political party. Finally, it’s a leftist party.

Stability of Government - The Mexican President is elected for six years. The government has been stabled
in last couple of years. In the past there were a lot more violence that made the government unstable.
Corruption is a key word in the Mexican government. This is because there could be people in the
government associated with The Cartels. Besides that, México has maintained a stable government by
trying to make reforms for the benefit of Mexicans in living a life with clean water, reasonable wages, and
many other problems.
Legal System - The legal sytem of Mexico is a civil law (mexonline).
Suffrage - The Mexican suffrage is 18 years of age with universal and compulsory (indexmundi).
Flag -

Trade Laws Introduction - Mexico is trying to get rid of all its tariffs. Also what is happening is that Mexico
does not want to depend too much on the United States economy for the reason that is has gotten
more free trade agreements. Also Mexico follows the NOMs guidelines of having the imported
or exported product have a perfect labeling or it would be sanction to fines. Another fact is that
there is a special tax for cigarettes and alcoholic beverages. All Mexican imports have to have to
be listed as Padron de Importadores. Mexico’s has phased out 67% of the traffic between the
European Union. Finally, Mexico is on of the most importers and exporters in the world meaning
it has to be carefully in how originated it is when it comes with its trade laws. (GlobalTrade)
Tariffs or Taxes - Under the NAFTA Mexico phased out all of its industrial traffic in January 1,
2003 and in January 1, 2008 it phased out its remaining traffic and non-tariffs like corn, sugar,
milk powder, orange juice, and dried beans. The US has limited Mexico’s market because its
exports have subjected to antidumping. Definite imports no longer have to pay the processing
fee> Henceforth, Mexico has a value-added tax (IVA) on sales or foreign products. !0 percent
are products residing in the Mexican border and 15 percent for the ones coming in from the
exterior. The products include foods. Finally, there is a special tax on alcoholic beverages and
cigarettes that can vary from 25 to 160 percent. (GlobalTrade)
Trade Laws
Trade Restrictions - Mexico has temporary importation like it imports that can be
returned in the same condition, foreign artist, cultural and sports event, convictions,
press, and journalist are all temporary imports. The procedures of temporary imports is
that Mexico has to send them in the same condition and can remaining in Mexico up to
six months. Henceforth, any errors in the paperwork errors can result in fines. Finally, if
the people break the laws the people can be subject to sanctions because Mexico is very
restrictive in there regulation and requirements. (GlobalTrade)
Service Barriers- Mexico has a few traffic barriers which one barrier is that sensitive
products require a license. To be certain which need Mexico has created a list. This is
why when you are an exporter from another country make sure you have your products
classified. Some that require license are weapons, ammunition, used goods, and
refurbished equipment because they are required by the secretarial economy. The
agriculture wants frozen meat, health requires advance sanitary import authorization to
export or import, and the environmental requires licenses for types of woods and many
more. Also toxic and hazardous exports and import shave to be authorized. Finally,
controlled products have to have the same regulations has the other products.
(GlobalTrade)
Luis Chaparro Mexico
18
Inspection Standards- All Mexican imports have to be listed with Padron de Importadores
of tax purpose. Also al products in North America have to have a NAFTA Certificate of
Origin. All the trades have to have a code to be inspected by the United States or Mexico.
There are two main types of trade standards NOMs, which are technical regulations,
include labeling and issued by the government and agencies. The second is NMX, which
are voluntary standards and whenever the government the government thinks it’s needed.
(GlobalTrade).
Trade Agreements – Mexico made a free trade agreement with Chile that was enforced in
August 1999 from a bilateral trade in 1991. As now 99 percent of Chilean exports go to
Mexico in duty free condition. The amount 625 million dollars annually comes from the
trade (GlobalTrade). Besides Chile, Mexico has free trade agreements between Costa
Rica, Nicaragua, European Union, Israel, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Uruguay,
Japan, Colombia, and Peru. Mexico has trade agreements mostly to help face their own
economic challenges and its dependence on the United States economy. Over the years
Mexico has been decreasing the dependence on trade with USA thanks to getting involve
with more free trade in Asia and Europe. With the European Union 67% of the tariffs
were phased out. (www.fas.org)
Labeling and Marketing Requirements- First of all retail sale in Mexico must have a label
in Spanish before the importation to Mexico. The products must follow the guidelines of
the NOMs that required that the commercial information is somehow put onto the
product. The product must at least have Name or business and addresses of the importer,
name or business of the exporter, Trademark of commercial brand, net contents, care and
use instructions for the product, and any warnings or dangerous aspects on hazardous
products. Finally, the importer have to have the taxpayer number. (Global Trade).
Population Introduction - The first reason why Mexico is a perfect place for your business is because its economy
rounds in the $1.26 trillion. Thus, it’s a middle power. It’s the 17th largest economy in the world. All this
is fantastic news for entrepreneurs because Mexico is thriving for new business that will help raise the
economy into a G7 economy (First Class Country). Furthermore, it has an excellent market in tourism and
oil business because of its tourism sites around Mexico like the Cozumel Playa. Henceforth, oil has the
biggest revenue in the country export with about $130 billion dollars. Finally, because wages are raising
and trade terms a getting less favorable, Mexico has gained more power in automobile exporter. For
example, large companies like Volkswagen, Toyota, Nissan, and ford have increase or started their
production in Mexico. This will bring even more companies to Mexico because they want to earn money.
Don’t you want profits? Then what are you waiting for! (weforum)
Total Population - The current population of Mexico is approximately 128,285,355 people.

Mexico is one of the
fastest growing

economy’s in the
world. The growth
makes sense because
parents are having
two to four kids in
this era; in Mexico.
Henceforth, Japanese

aging and births not

people in Mexico are
around there late 30’s, while in Japan and Russia there in their late 40’s (Worldmeters).
Birth Rates –
This graph interprets
that Mexico has a
greater birth rate than
Russia, but has a
smaller birth rate than
Japan. Japan and
Russia have had
problems with growth
rate so that’s a key
favor of why they
have a lower birth
rate.

Also makes sense because Mexico has a greater birth rate than both of the other countries. Thus, the
another two should have a greater death rate. Also Mexico treats there people better by having a better

Life Expectancy Rates –
Mexico has higher life expectancy than Russia because Russia has a low birth rate and high death
rate. Its lower than Japan because Japanese people life in a good atmosphere and have live in better
conditions. Mexico has lot of people who die due to violence. Another thing is that Mexicans can die
because of bad water usage or food. Finally, how good people take of themselves takes a role like for
example how much time they have of vacations a year.

Haciendas are common for some business man. Having a hacienda would mean more furniture
and television sets. Furthermore, a car would be the most ideal type of transportation because of
how other transportation can’t reach haciendas. Most of the business man in large cities would
live in the Spain looking like houses because there the best accommodation for foreign people. It
is considered to be like a typical American home with three to four bedrooms. Living in this
types of homes would mean more of traveling in taxies or buses, but it is good to travel in a
personal car as well. Hacienda would be more of the section who want to spend more money
versus the typically business man home would be like America’s homes. Car market is more
predominate in the urban areas where typical houses are, but some people reach other
transportation in, which they travel in.
Typical Housing Structures
Mexico housing architecture has been injected with some styles from different American homes.
Some homes can be made of different characteristics with different materials and colors been
used. Also many homes in Mexico are created from the types of homes that are in Spain like
White stucco walls, red tile roofs, several arched and rounded windows, and the doors are
usually wooded. Almost all of these homes have dark color floors tiles in the bathrooms and
kitchens. Some have a beautiful garden, courtyards, and a built in fountain. There is also
mission-style homes like those who the Spaniards built in the 18th century or Florida, Arizona,
and California have. These homes are made out of stone or stucco walls, arched ceilings and
walkways, bell towers, and sometimes their interior designs are bright colors. Furthermore,
Mexico’s largest cities have adobe houses in the urban areas. Adobe houses are found in the
Caribbean and Mexico. There made out of adobe or stucco, have slim roofs and vigas that can be
seen from eh exterior walls, and many have floors with brick or wooden ceilings. Adobes are
more popular in hot climate s because the way their built with small windows that keeps the
inside cool. Finally, the haciendas are a ranch-style homes found in the vicinity of Mexico.
Haciendas are usually a one- story large house and spread out in a large property. Most
haciendas have a large fireplace in the family room, separate dining, and a kitchen area, Most
have tile floors, bricks fireplaces, and outdoor patios or courtyards.

1. Telephone Systems: Mexico’s telephone services are generally good for business and
the government. Its quality is improving dad by day, Also its mobile cellular availability
is improving as well. Including 120 earth systems of domestic satellite. Since the country
opened for private companies to launch phone services Telmex has still remain the
number one by having the teledensity of about 80 per every 100 people. Furthermore, it’s
the 14 country with the most telephones in the whole world. With a Columbus -2 fiber-

and parts of Europe.

popular being Televisa and Azteca. Mexico has well advance television broadcast
because most of them spent their free time watching t.v.
Transportation Mexico has a variety of different
transportations method starting with
airplanes. Air traveling can be the most
convenient way to go to another place in
Mexico, but its hard to find affordable
prices. Another element of transportation is
a private car, which is good for wanting to
go to places at your own rhythm. The
upside is that rules on the road in Mexico
can be different from other countries
you’ve driven in. Taxi are used a lot around
Mexico and some use a meter while others
will negociate a price with the driver in
advance. Boats, Ferry or a ship are a good
way to travel in cruise along the beautiful ports and Mexican Rivera or Rivera Maya.
Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Mexico City have metros and the last one mention has the second
largest metro system in North America and it’s a perfect way to get around the cities. A
collective is a popular transportation in small towns to pick up people and drop them off in
specific places. A collective is a van or pick up truck. Henceforth, a donkey its popular anymore,
but some people still used to travel and see the Mexican landscape. Finally, the primary
transportation in Mexico is buses because it has and extensive network, which some buses are
full of luxuries while others are old school buses. It’s worth the price for a long trip because of
the comfort. During the high season the buses can get full quick so buy your tickets in advance.
About 75% percent of Mexicans own a car.
Transport Analysis o Roadways Paved and Unpaved
(transportespublico)
Luis Chaparro Mexico

Mexico has a lot of kilometers with unpaved roads, but throughout the years
there is less and less kilometers to get paved. Mexico wants to bring safety to the
Mexican drivers. With getting more paved roads there are positive effects on households
by vehicle ownership, home improvements, and collateral credit use.
o Water and Railways
This makes a lot of sense because Mexico has a lot of railways from past years
when railways were used a lot. Also when trains were used for a transportation.
Waterways has not been a real popular transportation system only for cruise or tourist
aspects.

popular thing in Mexico because there aren’t that many. Henceforth, Mexico isn’t a country that
is known for it focusing on wars. Mexico is the 70 country with most merchant marines in the
world. Finally, because airports are used for the public and all the people, while merchant
marines are only used for a specific amount of people.
Labor Job Market and Availability
To obtain a job in Mexico you first have to find the right job by looking up in the internet
or newspaper according to your interest. The next would to write to the HR recruiter by
sending your resume or to the general manger if it on the web site. Henceforth, would be
interviews but, phone calls are better. Apply and do all the required test for the job. Also be
responsible with your timing. Once they offered you a job proposal ask about income and
taxes deduction. Henceforth, you would need to contact to the payroll for you to know all
the tax administrations. Once everything is good with taxes look for a place to live close to
your office. Finally, start working in Mexico. If you are a foreigner trying to work in
Mexico you’ll nee a need to get a visitor visa or known as FM3. This visa tells the Mexican
government that you came to Mexico for temporary work has a resident. Before getting a
permission to work you need to have gotten a job offer. As of 2016 you had to leave the

The minimum age to work in Mexico is 14 years old for both girls and boys according to
the Mexican Constitution.
Mexico has collective labor relationships. In some workplaces in Mexico there are
unjustified terminations and deputies of an injury happen while working. Other thing is that
sometimes there is not equal pay between employees. In some cases around the country
there are employers that don’t pay the minimum wage or overtime. If problems over money
start occurring, then the relationship between employers and employees is not the greatest.
Otherwise people are happy with their jobs (naalc). For example, tourism is one of the most
well treated industries in all of Mexico. There are places out there that the relationships
between employer and employees are going to be the greatest. Mexico is changing and
soon everything is going to be equal because it has been rising into its best working
relationships since the past years.
Mexico has very god strong laws for workers to protect them. The laws are as protective as
other countries around the world. They include the right to form or to join unions, to
indemnity if you are hurt. One of the most important right is the right to have a safe
workplace. As well, as to have the right to be free from forced labor and discrimination at a
job. Finally, article 123 of the Mexican Constitution states that it “guarantees workers the
right as constitutional rights- including the right to organize, the right to a safe workplace
and the right to equal pay for equal work, among others “ (naal).
Mexican workers have the benefit of a health insurance provided by the social security
system but, only the economic sectors have access to it. Also it’s a federal law to have
vacation be payed to the employees. The employee can get at least six days of vacation
paid for one year of service. Another key benefit is that by federal law companies have the
obligation to give workers training for it to be necessary to carry out their tasks. A popular
benefit in Mexico is “The Aguinaldo” or the Christmas bonus where their e given a
mandatory fifteen days of their salary. Finally, there is four more benefits that workers get
Coupons or vouchers, catastrophic insurance, savings fund for retirement, and productivity
bonus.

Mexico’s Enrollment ratio in secondary level is not the greatest because all lot of students drop to
go work with their parents. In the USA it’s a law to go to school to at list get a GED. The Tertiary level is
reasonable because in the USA you can get a lot of help to go to college. In Mexico it si only the ones that

Considering that Mexico only has 67% people of in secondary. Back then in the 40’s-80’s people would only
go to kindergarten or to first grade. After going to school for own to two years they got sent to work and never
learn how to read or write. In Germany and United States since the 80’s people have regular gone to school to
at least learn how to read and write.
Chosen Statistic – Government Spending on Education > Proportional of GDP
United States of America makes a lot of money each year so 5.62% is really like four times more money than
the Mexican and German percentage. The German have good educational system so that percentage seems to
be perfect. Mexico still needs a better educational system. With the confidence Mexican people have and with
new business man entering the country the education system should get a lot more complex. Finally, most of
the United States money goes to college for expensive equipment for their different majors.
Evaluation – Mexico spends almost the same amount of money in education from a percentage from
GDP as the United States of America, but because the United States makes more income it’s a greater

number than Mexico’s. Mexico is improving in the literacy rate since the last ten years but is still way
behind for the fully developed countries. The literacy level make sense because Mexico’s enrolment and
attainment for secondary and tertiary are below average from developed countries. Also in Mexico there
is from 5-6 hours of school a day meaning business people who have a target for teenagers can earn more
money in Mexico. In Mexico summer break is about a month long thus business can have a long year of
students coming into their business and buying equipment or food for their needs. Even though Mexico
doesn’t have as high percentage of people attending school like the United States it will grow soon
because Mexico’s economy is growing. Mexico economy’s complexity is getting eve complexes. Finally,
Mexico is going to be a first world country soon so don’t wait, start the initiative.

Sur and it’s a dual destination for one
reasons. The First reason is the one side of
Los Cabos is tranquil like an authentic
Mexican town. While the side of town is the
opposite were party is the central attention,
bars, and a luxury mall centered on the
marina. Furthermore, Los Cabos is
considered as the Land’s End because it’s the
last city in e Baja Peninsula. While being so
close to USA it has had a good development
in having shopping malls, real estate, and
many other remarkable things. Los Cabos is
divided into three distinct areas. San Jose de
Cabo is where all the shady main plazas are.
The sleepy part. The Corridor is where all the luxurious resorts, impressive spas, and

Religion General Description
Roman Catholic is the most popular religion in Mexico. It dates all the way back, during Mexico
independence when Mexico had a series of efforts to involve the church. For the reason that the
Roman Catholic Church owned from one-quarter to on-half of the land a controlled most of the
schools. Even though it was and it is the most popular religion the government made changes in
the constitution in 1917 to forbid any relationship[ with education, prohibited the establishment of
religious orders, all church ceremonies had to within church buildings, and the sate gave ownership
to all church buildings. But in 1992 the constitution changed dramatic and a resumption of a good
relationship with the Vatican reoccurred. Nowadays Roman Catholic represents more than 88% of
Mexican people.
