Both lev-els operate under the AlignmentExplorer. smartREADER supportsone-way communication allowingmeasurement data be transferredto a PC for viewing, printing andarchiving. smartEDITOR supportstwo-way communication allowingadvance file preparation as well asediting, printing and archiving. The'join' function can be used to anal-yse the alignment condition of 3-machine trains.
