lubrigone is a line of silicone oil free and coating free syringe stoppers compatible with glass and polymer prefillable syringes.

lubrigone is made of a chemically inert thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) that is compatible with ISO measurement prefillable glass or polymer (COC/COP) syringes.

lubrigone’s novel combination of the sealing profile design and special material characteristics comprise a solution with a low break loose and glide forces without the traditional need for lubrication or coating of the stopper or container, resulting in a completely clean injection system.

Lubrication, siliconization and coating of prefilled syringes adds unnecessary particles to the drug, which have been proven to be responsible for compromising the efficiency and durability of the drug.

This adverse issue is especially problematic for large molecule biologics, as it may cause droplets, irreversible change in conformation and an increased risk of protein aggregations, hence compromise and ultimately affect the patients claim to optimum and efficient treatment.

The lubrigone stopper enables a primary packaging for injectables in glass or polymer (COC/COP) without any kind of lubrication of its components, thus a clean system.

Despite the elimination of lubrication lubrigone offers a high degree of user-friendliness including low break loose and glide forces.
