Lubrication InstructionsBattery-Driven Power Equipment

Use only DePuy Synthes Power Tools Autoclavable Oil (519.97). Oil drive units/handpieces, battery casings and lids, and attachments after every use. Lubrication should be performed after cleaning and before sterilization.

Apply 1 drop of oil to all accessible moving parts of the drive unit/handpiece, battery casings and lids, and attachments. Distribute the oil by moving the components. Wipe off excess oil with a cloth.

Notes: Attachments and accessories may only be lubricated with DePuy Synthes Power Tools Autoclavable Oil. The composition of the vapor-permeable oil is optimized for the specific requirements of the power system.Lubricants with other compositions can cause jamming, have a toxic effect, or have a negative impact on the sterilization results.

To ensure a long service life and to reduce repairs, always lubricate the drive units/handpieces, battery casings and lids, and attachments after each use.

Only lubricate the drive units/handpieces, battery casings and lids, and attachments when they are clean.

DePuy Synthes Power Tools recommends running the drive unit/handpiece with lubricated attachments after cleaning and before sterilization.
