S1 SetupeNB MME
S1 SETUP REQUEST
S1 SETUP RESPONSE
Purpose : Exchange application level data needed for the eNB and MME to interoperate correctly on the S1 interface. Erases any existing application level configuration data in the two nodes and replaces it by the one received. Erases all related signaling connections in the two nodes . Re-initialize the E-UTRAN S1AP UE-related contexts (if any). Request::Global cell ID, eNB name etc. Response:: MME name, MME Indication. MME capacity.
eNB Configuration Update eNB MME
ENB CONFIGURATION UPDATE ACKNOWLEDGE
ENB CONFIGURATION UPDATE
Purpose : update application level configuration data needed for the eNB and MME to interoperate correctly on the S1 interface. This procedure does not affect existing UE-related contexts. Update content: Global cell ID, eNB name etc.
MME Configuration Update MME eNB
MME CONFIGURATION UPDATE
MME CONFIGURATION UPDATE ACKNOWLEDGE
Purpose : update application level configuration data needed for the eNB and MME to interoperate correctly on the S1 interface. This procedure does not affect existing UE-related contexts, if any. Update content: MME name, MME Indication. MME capacity.

X2 SETUP REQUEST
X2 SETUP RESPONSE
Purpose : exchange application level configuration data needed for two eNBs to interoperate correctly over the X2 interface. erases any existing application level configuration data in the two nodes and replaces it by the one received. Request: Global eNB ID (PLMN +eNB ID), bandwidth, frequency info, neighbour info, MME info.
eNB Configuration UpdateNeighbour eNBSource eNB
ENB CONFIGURTION UPDATE
ENB CONFIGURATION UPDATE ACKNOWLEDGE
Purpose: update application level configuration data needed for two eNBs to interoperate correctly over the X2 interface. Update info : new served cell info, new neighbour info, modified cell info, deleted cell info, MME update info.
Load Indication
Neighbour eNBSource eNB
LOAD INFORMATION
Purpose: transfer load and interference co-ordination information between eNBs controlling intra-frequency neighbouring cells. Content: cell ID, UL interference overload indication (for all RBS), UL High interference indication (for some RBS), relative narrowband Tx power (RNTP).
Resource Status RequestNeighbour
eNBSource eNB
RESOURCE STATUS REQUEST
RESOURCE STATUS RESPONSE
Purpose: used by an eNB to request the reporting of load measurements to another eNB. Request: eNB measurement ID, registration request index: start/stop to measure, cell to report, report period. Response: start measurement, eNB measurement ID, criticality diagnostics (measuring) .
Resource Status RequestNeighbour
eNBSource eNB
RESOURCE STATUS REQUEST
RESOURCE STATUS RESPONSE
RESOURCE STATUS UPDATE
Purpose: initiate by eNB2 to report the result of measurements requested by eNB1 using the Resource Status Reporting Initiation. Update: radio resource status, s1 load indicator, hardware load indicator.
