ABOUT USCorteCros® was founded in 1998 as a joint venture between Cortec® Corporation and Crosco, Well Services Ltd., a member of INA Group. CorteCros® is the general representative of Cortec® Corporation for Croatia and South-eastern Europe. In 2016, CorteCros® became fully owned by Cortec® and is now completely included in the new Cortec® business strategy with all its potentials. Cortec® Corporation is one of the largest manufacturers of corrosion inhibitors for corrosion protection in the global market and sells its products in over 90 countries.

MISSIONOur mission is to offer technical and logistics support to Cortec’s European distribution network, in a way that reflects excellence in every aspect of Cortecn’s business. CorteCros® is part of Cortec’s new European logistics network with resources that include our Zagreb office and a distribution center in Split, Croatia. Cortec’s Central European point for manufacturing and distribution is now located in Croatia, from where products are exported worldwide. CorteCros® products are controlled by new laboratory capabilities that conform to the highest world standards. The coastal town of Split is the main European location for storage of CorteCros® products as well as products of Cortec® subsidiary Bionetix® International, which specializes in environmental biotechnology. Utilizing the latest technology, CorteCros® provides integrated corrosion protection solutions that enable clients to achieve significant cost savings and greater environmental responsibility.

For the last 18 years, CorteCros® has been successfully operating by offering the latest technology corrosion protection products and services. ENGINEERING AND SERVICES

CorteCros® is focused on providing each customer with optimum corrosion control solutions to meet their needs. The company offers product selection, application, and consulting services for corrosion prevention and collection of spilled oil derivatives and chemicals.CorteCros® is committed to providing cost effective services designed to ensure that Cortec’s customers receive the correct products, technologies, and applications.

PRODUCTION FACILITY CorteCros® has a production facility that includes a large 9,000 liter blending line and 2,000 liter concentric double-axle mixer, as well as a small 3,000 liter blending line. Cortec’s proprietary VpCI®/ MCI® products are manufactured in CorteCros’s brand new manufacturing facility in Split in accordance with REACH regulation. This enables them to be shipped everywhere inside the European Union and beyond in record time.

LABORATORYThe CorteCros® laboratory plays an integral role in manufacturing Cortec® corrosion control products and providing critical testing services that help customers choose a solution to their corrosion problems. CorteCros’s new laboratory is equipped with modern instruments and performs testing compliant to EU and ASTM standards. Each batch is tested on-site according to high standards which allow CorteCros®

to provide valuable services to its customers.

WAREHOUSECorteCros’s distribution center and warehouse are strategically located in Split’s harbor enabling prompt and efficient product transportation.

Warehouse capacity:

• 1100 m2 spread

• 300 m2 for outdoor storage

• 200 spaces on the pallet racks

• All equipment for loading and unloading merchandise

MILITARYNew strategies of corrosion prevention in military applications are continually being developed and evaluated for effective corrosion control. CorteCros® has valuable, extensive experience in the field of military applications and offers economical and effective corrosion prevention solutions for preservation of weaponry, tanks, military vehicles, and other military equipment.

PACKAGE PRESERVATION IN THE INDUSTRYCorteCros® offers a full line of standard and custom packaging products including VpCI® films, VpCI® papers, and VpCI® foam, along with procedures for preservation and packaging.

GREEN TECHNOLOGIES

Revolutionary System of USDA Certified Biobased and Products for Metalworking Industries

CorteCros’s innovative high-technology corrosion protection system consists of four revolutionary biobased products: BioCorr® Rust Preventative, EcoLine® 3220, EcoLine® 3690, and EcoLine® Cleaner/Degreaser. This product series is produced in Split, Croatia, one of the central points for green technologies in Europe. CorteCros® offers this cost-efficient system, making it more accessible for European customers. Clients can purchase ready-to-use products available immediately from our Split warehouse, enabling time and money savings.

MIGRATION CORROSION INHIBITORS™ TECHNOLOGY

After being used for construction and rehabilitation of the most famous structures in the world, including the Pentagon and Burj Khalifa, MCI® Technology will be used to preserve Vukovar’s water tower, which was hit more than 600 times during the siege of the city.

CorteCros® donated funds for reconstruction of the Vukovar water tower, which was almost destroyed in the 90’s during the Croatian War of Independence. The water tower is the most famous symbol of the city’s suffering during the Battle of Vukovar. It also symbolizes victory and new life. It was one of the most frequent targets of artillery but never collapsed.

BIONETIX® INTERNATIONAL

CorteCros® is the European distributor for Bionetix® International, a Canadian-based company that produces biological products used in thousands of field applications worldwide. Bionetix® biological formulations contain specific, all-natural microorganisms to break down organic pollutants – without the use of chemicals and further damage to the environment.
