Northwood Manufacturing is proud to introduce the all new “Nash for 2012”. A good idea is always a good idea. Ron Nash broke into the RV business with his no-nonsense Northwest Rugged "Pretty One in Work Boots"...The Nash Travel Trailer, and that idea took off like wildfire.

For 2012, Nash has returned to its roots, with another affordable, well-made trailer that will last for years; a durable RV you can take off-road and be used in any season.

The concept is sensible and simple. We build RVs how YOU like them. It was a good idea 20 years ago and it's a good idea today!

The 2012 Nash is now available in two amenity levels, the Nash LT and the Nash DLX. This will expand its appeal to the price sensitive customer who wants the rugged durability of a fiberglass-sided trailer. Being built by Northwood Manufacturing, Nash is constructed to withstand the extreme climates found in the Pacific Northwest. So, whether your idea of camping is an elk camp in winter or the campsite nearest the swimming pool at your favorite campground, you will feel equally at home in your new Nash LT or Nash DLX.

Every 2012 Nash DLX comes standard with

the DLX offers optional enclosed, insulated, and heated holding tanks. That’s correct - you can have an optional generator on any 2012 Nash DLX model. If you are concerned about being fully self-contained, the 2012 Nash DLX is your best answer!

Our wall studs are 16” on center select lumber (better than competitor's #2 grade). We use R7 fiberglass insulation which is hand tucked and secured. We apply a one-piece laminated exterior wall of corona treated fiberglass and double layers of lauan plywood. This composite wall forms an amazingly strong one piece seamless panel. Industrial strength construction adhesives glue bonds the framing to triple layered exterior siding. This provides the “Absolute strength” of the Nash sidewall.

Raising the Roof: A Reason to CelebrateUsing special construction jigs which allow us to use bow

trusses, the Northwood ceiling improves upon industry application by adding adhesives to further bind the structure and by using snap batten track molding to ensure a ceiling that stays in place. The ceiling structure is constructed as a single unit and is raised to cap the entire RV in a single step.

Because there is so much riding on it, we build our own chassis. The RV chassis is comparable to the foundation of a home. Ask someone who has had their home settle if they think a solid foundation is important. Quality design combined with quality steel and quality welding results in a better chassis. That is why we certify Northwood chassis’s through an independent testing laboratory for quality assurance. This is one of the keys to our renowned strength and durability.

We use the same construction techniques used in quality residential cabinetry. We assemble hardwood stiles with screws on a face frame machine to ensure strong, durable cabinets. There is a lot of livability in this small package.

Certainly the focus of the 17K is on the large windows surrounding the rear dinette. Imagine how content you will feel as you watch the sun rise over the tree tops while relaxing with your morning coffee. Imagine your satisfaction as you sit awash in the glow of the sunset as it paints the lake a liquid gold while enjoying the delicious meal you’ve just prepared in your convenient full-function kitchen.

With convenient access to both the kitchen and the bathroom from the entry door, this model is a dream when getting the meal and the family to the picnic table at the same time. Whether you are coming or going, the proximity of the bed provides a convenient place to sit as you get dressed for the day or for bed. The inner spring mattress provides a good night’s rest without the hassle of creating a bed but should you need additional sleeping, the dinette does convert to a comfortable sleeper thanks to the thick, high-density foam cushions.

Storage is abundant thanks to cabinetry placements throughout and there is even a full-width, pass-t h r o u g h e x t e r i o r s t o r a g e compartment in the front of the 17K with cooler-sized access because practical functionality is designed into every Nash LT and Nash DLX. No more lines, privacy or sanitary concerns as you deal with public washrooms. Even the bathroom is practical. You have your own toilet, sink, and shower. We even threw in functional counter space and a medicine cabinet for all your medicines and toiletries.

A l though only seven inches longer than the 17K, the

18L ups the ante by including the seating comfort of a jackknife sofa. This feature not only provides greater seating variety but also provides for an additional sleeping area as the jackknife rapidly folds into a bed. If your needs require even more sleeping, keep in mind that the overhead combo-bunk above the double bed can serve as a fold-down bunk. If additional beds are not a concern, simply remove the bunk pad and the space serves as a cabinet to accommodate your belongings.

We rethought the bathroom for the 18L with the idea that there may be more people sharing this space. If that is the case, consider the practicality of placing the commode and shower inside the room while keeping the sink and medicine cabinet outside the bathroom. This allows multiple users to access a s p e c t s o f t h e f a c i l i t i e s simultaneously. This common sense application allows you to get your clan out the door or into bed in a timely manner. You will appreciate this the first time you use your new 18L.

With all the same practical kitchen fea tu res we ’ve p rev ious ly mentioned, the 18L does increase the size of the pantry cabinet.

What a great floor plan for a family with children! There is a set of stack

bunk beds in the rear of this unit, adjacent to the bathroom. Imagine the convenience of giving the kids their own bunkhouse area and having your own private night time conversation and activity area. Immediately forward of the bunkhouse is the large “U”-shaped dinette. This dinette will seat the entire crew and converts into a large sleeping area simply by adjusting the table position and the cushions. We even added a chaise lounge at the door end of the dinette allowing extra inches to accommodate your tall children or guests.

This chaise design provides seating flexibility allowing people to either face the table for meals and games or the bed area. Because the bench area provides accessible seating upon entering, folks can sit down and take off muddy shoes before heading to the rest room. When used in conjunction with the optional “Sit-N-Sleep" sofa sleeper, this configuration forms a nice conversation area. You can also use the lounge as you lie back and comfortably watch the optional LCD TV.

Of course the 23B has the front exterior, full-width pass-through storage compartment with access doors large enough to stow your cooler. Still it is the interior storage that is impressive. The head of the bed is literally surrounded by cabinetry. The “U”-shaped dinette provides additional storage lockers below the seat cushions along the sidewall. There is storage under the bottom bunk as well as the full height wardrobe cabinet between the bunks and the bath. Situated between the bunks is Northwood’s exclusive “Stow-N-Go” bunk storage. Simply lift the top bunk cushion to reveal hidden storage cavities that provide even more space for your children’s clothing or play items.

Nash DLXIf you decide to purchase your 23B with the optional "Sit-N-Sleep" option, the queen bed is replaced with a combination fold-down sofa and bed cushion platform. For sleeping, the jackknife sofa folds down and the high-density foam mattress flips over to create a queen bed that is truly restful. For seating, flip the mattress onto the platform, return the sofa to the upright position and enjoy comfortable seating with a fully supportive back. There are also some additional storage drawers situated below the sofa.

Wow! The “U”-shaped dinette slides out with the press of a button

to create the most spacious model in the Nash offering. The dinette is large enough to comfortably seat the entire family and quickly converts into a large bed. Just add your sleeping bag and a restful night is all but guaranteed. Don’t forget the storage locker and below seat storage areas.

As with the 23B, the "Sit-N-Sleep" option allows you to choose between the standard walk around queen bed with lift-up storage access or the seating comfort of the jackknife sofa with storage drawers and the flip-over, high-density foam mattress. The combination of cabinetry in the bedroom provides plenty of storage. And there is a privacy curtition that can be quickly drawn to section off the bedroom from the remainder of the trailer.

You will discover a true appreciation for the full-function kitchen. Not only because the counter space is plentiful but also for all the storage – both below the counter and in the overhead cabinetry. The large double door refrigerator, in conjunction with the built-in pantry (there is also a cabinet below the TV location) means you can pack plenty of supplies. No more unwanted trips to the store... life is good!

The bathroom, located at the rear, spans the full width of the trailer. This wide space provides abundant room to towel off or for getting dressed. There is also a large wardrobe closet

23F23F Have you ever seen another trailer that has as much storage as the

23F? Everywhere you look you will find a cabinet or cubby that allows you to stow all of your stuff. All of this is on top of such a practical floor plan!

The bedroom, situated in the front of the trailer, keeps you out of the traffic flow and away from the noise associated with the activity surrounding the entry door. Even more attractive is the walk around bed, with a large storage compartment below, which is so easy to make and keep tidy because you can walk around and access it from both sides.

The dinette not only serves as a great place to enjoy meals and games, but thanks to the large window, it also serves as the perfect location to sit and oversee the campsite as well as help with meal preparation. The jackknife sofa provides casual seating without a table and is the perfect spot to sit for viewing the TV. Remember, both the dinette and the sofa can be converted to create additional sleeping accommodations.

Most of the traffic into a trailer happens as a result of people using the kitchen and the bathroom. The great thing about the 23F is that both the kitchen and the bathroom are located at the entry door. Convenient access means you spend more time enjoying your trailer and less time cleaning it; think how grateful you will be each time you load or unload your trailer.
