LSI: What is the Rocket Science behind it LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) is an indexing and retrieval method, which uses a technique called Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). This method is used to identify patterns in the relationships between the terms and concepts which are present in a completely unstructured collection of text or words.
