23 rd September 2021 Dear Parents/carers, Staffing Update - LRB 2 (Miss A Vowles) ** CONFIDENTIAL** Please be aware that the contents of this letter could lead to potential worry for some of our children and therefore we politely request that you do not share this information with the children at this time. The LRB classes have been very fortunate over the last twelve months to have been led by an experienced teacher who has brought expertise from her work in a special school to support children with additional learning needs at Glan Llyn. Unfortunately, I need to inform you that Miss Vowles will be leaving us at the end of term in December to take up a new role as ALN Advisory Teacher for Newport City Council. Please rest assured that we are working swiftly to appoint a suitable replacement and will be planning an enhanced transition for the new member of staff to ensure that the change is carefully managed and does not cause excessive disruption for the children in the class. Again, for their wellbeing and for the wellbeing of the whole class, we request that you do not share this information with your child at this time.
