What can the plasma technology treat?Loose skin on eyes, sagging neck, lip lines, smokers lip lines, crows feet, flattens moles and skin tags

acne scars.

How does it work?Plasma is the Fourth state of matter (the others being Gas, Liquid & Solids). Plasma is created by electrical energy from the pen which at the right distance from the skin ionises the oxygen and nitnitrogen in the air to create a small electrical arc, similar to a tiny lightning bolt. When this hits the skin it vaporizes any liquid in the skin at the point of contact, the surrounding skin contracts into the

area and tightens around it giving a shrinking and lifting effect.

Even though skin layers get vaporised by the plasma (via heating, fragmentation and vaporization), they do not burn off. They simply flake off at a later date as part of the healing process.

The skin fibroblasts are stimulated to produce new collagen and elastin into the area to heal the skin over the next few weeks giving a further tightening effect.

Plasma is Plasma is formed through ionization of atmospheric gasses – when it arcs on the skin it stimulates instant contraction and tightening of skin fibres this is called sublimation.

This technology does not use scalpel or laser to remove excess skin, thereby avoiding all risks inherent to the traditional intervention.

The treatment is performed without cutting, burning or removing excess skin or fat. It uses the difference in voltage between the device and a person’s skin to generate a small electrical arc or

plasma discharge.

What posWhat post-treatment work is required? The only post-treatment preparation is a 48-hour patch test to check there is no allergic reaction to the numbing cream. You can offer a patch test on the skin of the plasma treatment to determine swelling and healing time if the customer would like this opportunity, but we’d suggest making a

small charge for this.

Is there any downtime?It It completely depends on the client and the area treated and the natural rate of recovery. It is normal for sensitive areas such as eyelids to become swollen and we would recommend not applying

makeup, which to some people this may mean downtime. Some areas weep slightly after treatment; this is simply plasma and is quite natural. As the spots begin to heal they naturally turn into crusts

and flake off.

What is the aftercare?TThere is a treatment aftercare gel provided and if desired a tinted balm. The area must be treated gently for a few days and the crusts must not be picked or knocked off. Dry healing is best.

New PRX-T33 treatment uses a gel which, applied with a specific technique, provides immediate aesthetic improvement and deep hydration. The treatment is repeated once a week for the

necessary number of sessions, thus stimulating the formation of new collagen. Each molecule of PRX-T33® contains a unique combination of 33% TCA, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and 5%

PRX-T33: What kind of facial peel is it?PRX-T33 is a facial peeling procedure based on the well-known trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peel. TCA is one of the most popular peeling treatments, as it is a non-toxic chemical which causes the top layer

of cells to dry up and peel off the skin.

What are the active ingredients in the PRX-T33 cosmetic peel?WWith PRX-T33, a combination of TCA and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) quickly penetrates the dermis (one of the skin's layers), activating a process of regeneration without attacking the epidermis (the outer layer of skin). The PRX-T33 solution contains 33% TCA and 67% hydrogen peroxide. The peel is incredibly effective. The combination of TCA and hydrogen peroxide stimulates the dermis non-inva-sively, while minimising the aggressive exfoliation of the dermis. PRX-T33 promotes stimulation of fibroblasts and growth factors without causing inflammation or damaging the skin. The treatment can be performed at any time of year, unlike peeling, because it is not photosensitising, and it is suit-

able for all skin types.

Why consider the PRX-T33 peel?1) This new method of needle-free bio-rejuvenation has been shown to combat the flaccidity of facial

What is the procedure for the facial peel?1) T1) The skin is prepared with mild soap, rinsed and dried thoroughly.

2) 2 ml of the facial peeling solution is applied per area, by manual massage or spatula.3) The specialist makes between 2 and 5 (usually 3), on each area of the face. They then massage the

product firmly until it is absorbed and a palpable or visible elasticity is observed.4) Plenty of fresh water is used to wash the face.5) Moisturiser can be applied (as desired).

6) Af6) After 24-48 hours: the patient should apply a special fluid called 'wiqo' at night. This moisturises and acidifies the skin. 30 minutes later, they can then apply moisturiser.

Step six must be repeated 3-5 times, once a week, but on the same day each time.The peel can be used either as a facial treatment, or on the body for the treatment of scars and

stretch marks. 

How often do I need to get treatment? In case of pigmentation (chloasma) – 1 session every 20 days until the problem disappears. In case of atrophic scars – spot treatment of scars until the skin is completely levelled. The number of procedures depends on the severity of the scars. In case of stretch marks (striae) – 1 session every 7 days for 10 weeks. In case of acne – 1 session every 7 days, 5-6 sessions only. In case of flabbiness of the skin – 1 session every 7 days, 3-5 sessions only. In case of signs of photoaging – 1 session every 7 days,

2-5 sessions only.

Sensations during the prx DuDuring the procedure, the client may feel tingling or burning; sensations should be tolerated – this is

normal.After the PRX procedure, a slight reddening may occur. It passes off independently for half an hour and does not require any rehabilitation procedures. These usually clear up within 24-48 hours. Please

How does it work?Unlike a traditional lash perm, LVL Enhance straightens your natural lashes at the root,

creating the appearance of longer, thicker lashes. Plus the added lash tint creates a mascara-style effect, so your lashes are perfect from the moment you wake up. No

extensions, no adhesive and no need for mascara!

What do I need to do before my Nouveau lashes treatment?PPrior to your first LVL treatment you must visit your salon to complete a patch test to check for any sensitivity to the products used. This must be completed a minimum of 48h prior to your treatment.

Do Nouveau lashes damage your natural eye-lashes?No. All of our Nouveau Lashes technicians are trained to the highest technical standard and our products go through rigorous testing to ensure they’re kind to your lashes. So providing your lash treatment is performed correctly, and you follow the aftercare instructions provided by your

ttechnician you will not damage your natural eyelashes. However, some people are unaware that your eye lashes naturally shed every 90 days. So if your natural eyelash falls out, whilst you have lash extensions attached, it may simply be at the end of its cycle and will naturally grow back

How long it will last? Your natural lashes will promote the benefit of LVL Enhance for up to 6-8 weeks. Little maintenance isrrequired once you leave the salon. What’s more, by combining the treatment with regular use of our unique Nouveau Lashes Conditioning Serum (£14.99 available in salon) to nourish your lashes, you

could be about to say goodbye to mascara for good!

Can I wear make-up after my lash treatment? Yes you can. However, we recommend using water-based mascara only following any lash extension treatment, and avoid waterproof eye make-up removers so not to damage the adhesive bond your

eyelashes are applied with.
