Our specialized technicians follow the entire LLL system starting from the analysis and project which will be approved by the classification authorities to continue on installation of the complete LLL- PL system on board. We also an approval service supplier by classification authorities for LLL testing and measurement. For the on board inspections we assign qualified technicians equipped with high quality Digital Photometer calibrated for testing LLL system which must be compliant with ISO 15370:2010 and IMO A. 752(18) resolutions.

Photoluminescent signs shall have the same performance as any installedphotoluminescent Low Location Lighting, according to ISO 15370.C&C manufacture the signs using MED approved photoluminescent material, CC/Glowmarine.

CC - LLL Photoluminescent SystemIMO Res. A.752(18) requires the PL strips should be no less than 75 mm wide. PL strips having a width less then that stated herein should be used only if their luminance is increased proportionally to compensate their width. C&C Shipping Solutions LLL system complies with the IMO and ISO standard, it is available in silver-anodised aluminium wall profiles in different heights and forms (different colours it’s available on request). The extrusions are designed to firmly grip the CC-GLOWMARINE Photoluminescent PVC strips upon insertion into the channel. Profiles can be fixed either with screws, flooring adhesive or a recommended double side adhesive tape (item code 7047 at page 83 of C&C general catalogue).

Some info about LLL installation in accordance with Resolution A.752(18) and ISO 15370:2010

1. In all corridors, the visual effect of the LLL system shall be continuous, except where interrupted by intersections with other corridors, cabin door or local enlargement , to provide a visible delineation along the escape routes.

2. The LLL shall be installed at the door frame or at the door leaf up to the exit door handle. To prevent confusion, only exit door shall be marked with the LLL.

3. In all stairways on the escape route, LLL installed on the bulkhead shall be at a height no more than 300 mm above the forward edge of each step. The top and the bottom of each set of stairs shall be identified to show that there are no further steps.

4.All escape route and fire equipment location should be marked with photoluminescent signs.

5.In dead-end corridors, the LLL system shall include arrows or equivalent direction indicators, at intervals of no more than 1 m, pointing away from the dead end.
