Our Worthy Kids team is excited to announce we are providing
Praise Packs at each service! What is a praise pack? Our Worthy Kids
praise pack includes some activities to get your child involved in worship
and also some quiet activities! We love all our kids in each service and
want to make it a good experience for everyone!
Parents please assist your children in grabbing a bag as you walk in and
be sure to RETURN THE BAG and it's reusable contents as you leave so
we can have bags available each Sunday!
OCTOBER 31ST, 5:00-7:00 PM
We will have Trunk or Treat as an outreach to our kids as well as
the community. We could use everyone’s trunk!! Please consider
decorating your trunks and help pass out candy.
*We are collecting candy donations, like we usually do, to make
the event a success. If you can donate a bag of candy, please
drop it off in the foyer. It would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Questions? Please see Laurie Naff, Nicole McPherson
or Brandi Munson
If you would like to volunteer to help, please do so at the Worthy
Kids check-in desk on the first floor.

TUESDAYS, 6:30-8:00 PM
It is not too late to join us!
Grief Share is for people grieving the death of a family member or
friend. It is a time of support and Biblical encouragement as you walk
through the multitude of emotions associated with death.
Contact Melinda Richards, Rick Symonds or the church office for more
information and to sign up.
When it comes to church membership . . . Everybody’s important, but nobody other than Christ is irreplaceable. The church will go on without any of us – but Christ is central. Giving financially is a part of Christianity, but Christian giving means giving yourself fully. Money is one necessary part of that expectation, but money is not as
important as giving yourself – your gifts, talents, energy, and enthusi-asm to the cause of Christ.
You should love your church, but know it’s not your church. Nor is it your pastor’s church or the deacons’ church or a certain fami-
ly’s church. The church consists of volunteers, but serving through the church is not optional. Every member is a minister in some ministry. The gospel offers rest, but church membership assumes work. Nothing in the Bible gives us room for an “inactive” church membership;
instead, being part of the body of Christ means you will fulfill your unique role in the work.
We want you to come, but we’re going to challenge you to go. That’s what the gospel does, so we’re going to do the same. We want you going . . . to your neighbors to tell them the gospel . . .
to the poor to minister to them . . . to the nations to introduce them to Jesus.
Don’t come with the assumption that you’ll get to sit.
How to become a member of Petsworth Church . . .

Complete the membership questionnaire provided at the class. Be baptized by immersion if you have not already done so. Be affirmed by the church body during a worship gathering.
Welcome!
We are so happy you have chosen to worship with us today!
