We keep an unfortunately diminishing stock of rare and obsolete parts,and also good used items.

This list is intended only as a guide: all prices are current, but subject tochange without notice. If there is an increase on the stated catalogue pricewe will try to inform you at the time of ordering,but please ask forconfirmation of cost.

Price increases are not always due to our desire to be very rich, but aremore often due to unavoidable rises in manufacturing and transport costs.

For your convenience we have given prices without VAT (first column)and with VAT @ 20% (second column). VAT is not applicable outside the EU.Non-UK VAT-registered customers within the EU will be required to statetheir registration number.

We despatch parts by Royal Mail and FedEx Next Day.Most parcels will require a signature as proof of receipt.Overseas parcels are usually sent by Royal Mail ParcelforceInternational Standard Fedex International or UPS.If you are overseas we will require a telephone number as well as the

full postal address- most important.

We like to despatch parts as soon as possible after ordering, ideally onthe same day. But as there are so few of us ( l.e. just one!) there may bedelays. If you are kept waiting we do apologise in advance.

On the very rare occasion that a part proves to be faulty we will eitherreplace or refund without question, providing we are notified within 7days of your receipt of the part and the unsatisfactory part is returnedIf you return a part for any other reason we reserve the right to exert a20% handling charge, provided the part is received back in the samecondition in which it was sent.

Personal callers are very welcome, but please telephone first in case ofdisappointment if we are not here,especially if you are coming from a distance.

We accept payment by cash (sterling, US$ or euro) cheque and major debit andcredit cards.{not American Express) If you prefer to pay by cheque we arehappy to send parts out with an invoice, but when we send "cheque by return"we really do mean it - within five days, please, not five weeks!

HISTORY

Although the restoration workshop closed when Mick died, the spare parts side of the businesscontinues to flourish, supplying both individual car owners and other restoration firms. We arealso still able to answer restoration queries and offer advice.

For four decades Mick Miller had a love affair with the Lotus Elan. It started with his building ofnew kits in the 1960's, continued with repairs and servicing and gradually evolved intorestoration, only ending with his early death in 2003. By this time he was acknowledged acrossthe world as a leading expert ofthe marque, accompanied by a legendary reputation forattention to detail.

We try to keep in stock all service items for the Elan and Elan Plus Two, along with many trimand body parts. In keeping with Mick's philosophy, we aim to ensure that the quality is as highas possible.

Forty years after the cessation of Elan production, there are few original equipment items stillavailable from the Lotus Factory, but if they are obtainable, we try to stock them. Other partsare sourced from alternative suppliers and many are specially made for us. We are constantlytrying to source and remanufacture previously unobtainable parts.

SUPER FLEX BUSHES

These Superflex polyurethane bushes are much longer lasting than the current rubber bushes.They are intended for road, not track, use and therefore do not produce a significantly harder ride.

DROP-HEAD CONVERSION

It is not a difficult job to convert a fixed-head coupe into a drop-head, but it is time-consuming and quiteexpensive. Purists may disapprove, but other may consider it no worse than fitting a non-original chassisor replacing a 4-speed gearbox with 5-speed transmission. As the Elan was designed as a drop-head nostrength is lost from the body by cutting off the roof, although the windscreen pillars must be reinforcedin order to maintain the correct rake of the windscreen and to support the screen and hood properly .Ifyou sell the car you are honour-bound to tell the buyer it is a conversion, even if it is obvious from thechassis number. FANCY NEW-FANGLED PARTSWe tend to be of the Luddite persuasion and hate change for its own sake; we do like to see the Elanskept more or less as they left the factory. But even we have to admit that sometimes an innovation comesalong which is worth considering.Here are a few of such items:

• High -torque starter motor, Luke Motorsport- vast improvement for starting, especially for highcompression.

• Electronic ignition system, Aldon Ignitor- hidden inside the distributor, thus keeping the look oforiginality.

• High quality rotor arm- great improvement on the current standard Lucas rotor arm• Braided steel Goodridge clutch hose- this goes from master to slave cylinders, replacing both the

rubber and rigid DE pipes.• Braided steel Goodridge brake hoses- these have zinc-plated steel fittings, but we can also supply

them with stainless steel fittings at extra cost.• Superflex polyurethane bushes- these are much more durable than the DE rubber, without

drastically altering the handling.• Halogen headlamp units- these fit into the existing headlamp bowls and can be supplied with

standard or up-rated xenon bulbs. We are informed that no changes are needed to existingwiring. Old-style sealed-beam units are now obsolete.

• Up-ratedcooling fans- we normally supply a neat Kenlowe model, which is very efficient.
