As the lead political reporter for The Florida Times-Union, John Daigle spent six months shadowing Florida Senate candidate Matt Carlucci. The result of the extraordinary reporting project was a in-depth investigative reporting series that provided an unprecedented look inside the life of a candidate for a major state office in Florida. The reporting series was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and won a Florida Press Association award for investigative reporting.
