• Adjectives are the words we use to describe a noun.

• They tell us about the characteristics of the noun they go with, such as: shape, color, size…

• To start Sra. Ebert’s going to teach us about adjetivos en español

•If the noun is singular, then the adjective will be singular •If the noun is plural then the adjective will be plural.

•If the noun is female, then the adjective will be female •If the noun is male then the adjective will be male.

El Cuento• Hay un chico. ¿Cómo se llama el chico? (class suggestions time).

No, el chico no se llama….Oh sí, el chico se llama…. ¿De dónde es el chico? (class suggestions time) El chico no es de….Oh sí, el chico es de… ¿Cómo es el chico? Es alto o bajo? Es Moreno o rubio? Etc. – Circle with boy’s description as needed to establish what he is like.

• Hay una chica…repeat with naming her, where she is from, describing her. Circle with descriptions of both with yes/no, either/or type questions. Ask if they notice a difference between for example Alto, Alta? (Pop up grammar)
