Looking Ahead To FebruaryOne positive that arises from a look at events coming in the next calendar month is that each day we creep closer to the end of winter. Spring’s arrival is March 20 which also happens to be Palm Sunday.

“Presidents’ Day” is February 15, a national holiday in honor of George Washington’s birthday (actually, February 22), but also in recognition of Abraham Lincoln’s February 12th birthday.

Groundhog Day is February 2. Ash Wednesday is February 10. From an employer’s point of view, the big day is Monday, February 29. That is the day that only happens every four years – an extra day of work for the same paycheck.

Please don’t overlook the most important day right in the middle of the month. February 14th is Valentine’s Day. Flowers? Candy? Tickets to a concert? Jewelry? Or at least a nice card?

Make February a great month in your life.
