Our teeshirts are made from high thread count, certified organic cotton.

(which means they are super soft and great for babies skin) these interlock

knit shirts have high quality stitching, gots certification for organic & fair

manufacturing and are dyed and printed using environmentally friendly

dyes and inks.

our fabric

teeshirts, happy daks & bibsthe thread count is super high...210-220 GSM...which means the shirts are a tiny bit thicker, a heap

softer and wash up really well. Combined with the fact that we use organic cotton, the shirts actually

get a bit thicker and softer when they wash.

the fabric is an interlock knit...soft stuff...and our stiching is of very high quality

our fabric is pre-shrunk using organic methods (hot water, no chems!!), so our shirts only have 4-5%

shrinkage, which means they can be thrown into a cold wash washing machine no probs.

our cotton has Control Union Certification for organically grown cotton!

Organic Denim Jeansthe denim has control union certification for organically grown cotton....it is dyed using natural indigo

and the button and zip are chrome and nickel free (no scratchy spots).

bamboodiesthe hoodie is made from silky soft bamboo. It has been pre-shunk and can be thrown into the cold

wash.

It is u.v reflective, anti-bacterial, hypoallergenic and has superior breathability.

It is packaged in a little pizza box made from 100% post consumer waste which has been printed

using vegetable dyes

and the processOur manufacture production meets standards for processing using organic methods and fairly trading

and holds GOTS certification.

our dyeing processes are eco friendly, using low impact, AZO free and heavy metal free dyeing.

we have popped a sizing heat transfer at the neckline to avoid irritation, AND makes it really easy to

see sizes

pocket inside for eco kids stuff.

the amazing bamboodie*They are made from bamboo fibre! They are light enough to wear in summer and great for

layering in winter. They have a really high UV rating and are antibacterial, making them a

great coverall for the beach. They are hypoallergenic and breathe really well, making them

perfect for that first layer in winter. They are super long, so they cover lots and will last bub

Eco peko bottoms*the classic cut jeans suit both boys and girls and are made from Control Union certified

organic cotton. They are dyed using natural indigo and the button and zipper are chrome

and nickel free.

Our happy daks are a super soft organic cotton and are 3/4 length. Great for rolling up as

shorts, rolling down and covering bubs knees when they crawl and have an extra panel in

the middle for lots of room . they go perfectly with our tees and bamboodies.

Eco peko bibs*Our bibs are double layerd interlock knit (really good absorption and very soft) and are

long enough to double as a burp cloth and look a bit like a vest when on. they have

My journey with eco peko started when my family and I wanted to make a tree

change and moved to the Perth Hills.

We wanted to move to somewhere, where we had a little piece of land to breathe,

relax, grow veggies and have fresh eggs every day from our lovely chooks.

After living in Roleystone for a few months, I started a stall at the country markets,

selling teeshirts that I had screen printed (with baby loli in a cot at the back of the

stall..great sales assistant!). After a few markets, I realized that I wanted to use

organic cotton for my shirts and eco peko was born.

As a mum of two little eco angels, I was inspired to create a clothes line that was

both environmentally friendly, would suit both boys and girls (and could be passed

on through friends and family), was soft, but durable. as I like to say......they may

be too young to chain themselves to old growth trees or join the fight to save the

whales...but the bubs in your life can take up the greenie cause by kitting

themselves out in eco peko.
