NLT 021330JUN14,188 th BSB conducts training on assigned VRC systems and SINCGARS FM radios utilizing OE-254s VIC OP7 IOT improve unit long range communications capability and mission command. 3. EXECUTION. 3.a. KEY TASKS. Ensure all necessary equipment (i.e. OE-254 COMPLETE with COEIs, H-250s) is on-hand Ensure unit VRCs , PAs (Power Amplifiers) vehicular Whip Antennas are present and FMC Perform all comms checks with Staff Duty prior to rollout IAW 188 th CMD Maintenance SOP 3.b. CONCEPT OF THE OPERATION. PHASE I PLANNING: This phase begins at T+2. Mission and Key Tasks are established. Resources, mission essential shortages are identified and coordinated for. Ensure vehicles identified for rollout possess installed VRC. Phase II PREPARATION: This phase begins at T+1. Gather all necessary remaining equipment to execute mission. Coordinate with S6 for receiving COMSEC. Ensure all necessary TMs (OE-254 )are on hand. PHASE III EXECUTION: This phase begins on T- day. Upon completion of “During PMCS”, each company erects and installs 1x OE-254 VIC OP7. Upon completion, comms checks utilizing company call sign are made to BN TOC (“Steel Main”) via VRC system. BN TOC confirms radio check and troubleshoots as necessary. PHASE IV RECOVERY: This phase begins after completion of long range comms checks. 3.c.
