WELCOME TO LONG BEACH, CA

Greetings fellow skin care/spa professionals!

I was recently at a training event in Australia, where I was making a comparison between two products and explaining how, if you really think about their purposes, they work perfectly together and create the perfect partnership. One product focused on increasing cellular energy, while the other on extending cell life. Simply put, together they were making cells more youthful ... then allowing them to live longer. Perfect! Then I blurted out: “Now really, how many ‘perfect’ partnerships are there in life?”

The weight of that statement sat a bit heavily on my mind, so much so that I began to try and identify just how many there are. Although I can honestly say that I did not come up with a huge amount, I did come up with quite a few, and those that I came up with were priceless. They will be different for each of us, and that is what makes life beautiful. But there are a few that many people do share, and as a skin care professional, a couple instantly came to my mind.

• The perfect partnership between your passion and your career • The perfect partnership between your clients that trust and commit to you

and the results that you deliver • The perfect partnership between your products and equipment with your

knowledge and abilities

… AND the perfect partnership between The International Congress of Esthetics and Spa and YOU. Why? Because The International Congress of Esthetics and Spa has spent years dedicating itself to providing skin care professionals with a one-stop source of manufacturers, distributors and education to “partner” with you in building your business and ensuring your success. But, as with any relationship, it takes two to get the most out of it! The International Congress of Esthetics and Spa, Long Beach consists of two full days of education in every aspect of the esthetics and spa business—from demonstrations, lectures and seminars on business strategies. There is also a full floor of manufacturers and distributors at your beck and call to answer questions and direct your decisions in products, equipment, supplies, makeup, software, uniforms, sundries, accessories and much, much more! But you need to do your part, come prepared and take advantage of it all. Make a list, check it twice and hit the floor running! Spend a few moments to study the show program and make a plan. Highlight the booths that you want to visit and the classes you want to attend. Schedule your time efficiently to ensure that you make the most of your two days. Even more importantly, make sure that you make the most out of what you need to boost your business!

Your “perfect partner” is waiting for you ... see you in Long Beach!
