Upcoming works
• This Sunday until 15:00 - no tram service between Merton Park and Wimbledon.
• Town centre works this summer.
• Crossings – work is due to start in May.
• System renewals work ongoing.
Crowding - future capacity enhancements
• Passengers now up 45% to 28 million per year, with more growth forecast – in excess of 30 million passengers by 2015
• Capacity enhancement is crucial to support additional tram passengers and the future growth of Merton and its connections to Croydon
