BHGE’s Perception of Industry Imperatives
Oil and Gas Operating Companies work in a market constrained by, at best, revenue uncertainty and, currently, low product prices.
They are under financial constraints to maximise cash flow and return on capital like rarely before.
FID approvals for new, multi-decade developments remain hard to justify; placing the onus on preserving production and well integrity for existing assets.
These assets also must be decommissioned at the absolute minimum cost consistent with industry and regulatory standards.
This situation requires existing assets’ life cycles (reservoirs as well as well infrastructure) to be optimised and every Dollar of both CAPEX and OPEX spent
wisely through data-driven decisions and planning.

Tubing & Casing Cutters Reservoir monitoring DeploymentThe BHGE tubing and casing cutting arsenal is the biggest in the industry. The Mechanical Pipe Cutter (MPC) along with the Downhole Electric Cutting Tool (DECT) provides the flexibility to have clean cuts from 2 7/8” tubulars to 7 5/8” casings.
We have listened to our clients’ concerns regarding issues associated with the current available production logging platforms. BHGE utilized the Industry recognized MAPS to build our future production logging Platform Accuphase®
