The details of the programme and the application form may be drawn from Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions website (persmin.nic.in). 2. The course is specially designed for international public sector leaders who have significant management responsibilities over key public policies and initiatives. It aims to provide a comprehensive overview of how good governance and robust public policies contribute to the sustainable development of countries and cities. 3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore will sponsor the cost of Programme fees and hotel accommodation under the Singapore Cooperation Programme. Thus the participant's nominating authority1 agency will have to bear the cost for travel arrangements and other local and incidental expenses. They should specifically undertake to bear the cost of participant's above expenditure. Applications received without such an undertaking will not be considered. 4. It is requested that the nomination of the suitable candidates may please be forwarded to this Department in accordance with the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions of the Singapore High Commission's Circular dated 7Ih ~ a n u a r ~ 2010. The officer should not be above 55 years of age as on the date of commencement of the course. The Ministries may sponsor the names of only Government1 Public Sector Undertaking functionary. 5. The nomination details should be submitted in the prescribed proformas duly authenticated by the Department concerned alongwith the requisite enclosures. 6. The applications should reach this Department through proper channel not later than loLh February 2010. Nominations received after the prescribed date will not be considered. Programme Content The programme is structured along the following main themes:

A Unique Approach The programme has the following unique features:

= A programme by practitioners forproctitioners. Many of the modules wi l l be helmed by senior Singapore government officials - at the Deputy Secretary to Permanent Secretary level - who wil l provide in-depth perspectives on a range o f public policy issues.

* Networking opportunities andhigh-level access. Participants will have invaluable opportunities to network among themselves and with key public sector leaders and thought leaders in Singapore. They wil l also enjoy high-level access to key government agencies and gain insights into their operating philosophies and systems.

Who Should Sign Up The programme is designed for international and local public sector leaders in

Programme Fee S$8,60o (approx. US$6,ooo) per person; or s$l2,600 (approx. US$g,ooo) per person, inclusive o f 10-night hotel accommodation and daily breakfast.

The fee covers study visits, meals and transportation during the oficial programme.
