LOKI 1971 LINN TECHNICAL COLLEGE
Notice the name of this yearbook. Loki. In Nordic ledgendry, Loki was the god of good and mischievous deeds. He was a fun loving god who loved to play practical jokes on the other gods. However, Loki also had a serious side and always corrected or made up for his mischief. The students at Linn Tech are a fun loving group that likes to have a good time, however, we also have a serious side and know when it is time to put the games away and get serious about our future. Therefore, this yearbook is given the name Loki.
Notice the type. The letters are bold and stand strong and solid. Linn Tech is a bold school; a school which is not afraid to move ahead; not afraid to keep its curriculum fast paced and current with the times; a school not afraid to take a chance on tomorrow; a school which has now become firmly grounded and stands strong in the Central Missouri area and shall continue to grow. Therefore this yearbook is dedicated to Linn Technical College; students, faculty, and administration.

GOALS LINN NICAL COLL
The primary goal of Linn Technical College is to take those students who are not interested in going to a liberal arts college and to teach them the necessary skills in their chosen technical field in order for them to secure a responsible position and to advance in it. In this we have been very successful, and we are proud of our outstanding record. In the years ahead we hope to reach the goals that we are setting today. One of these goals is to make Linn Tech a four year institution. In addition we plan to add more technical areas in order to offer curriculums that will appeal to the individual needs of all students in Missouri
