Check following conditions to enable to start Unit: - Generator Circuit Breaker is opened - Generator Brake is opened - Governor is ready to start - Excitation is ready to start - There's no hydraulic protection (Do not have level 1, 2, 3 protection) - There's no electrical protection (come from system 1, system 2 system) Perform the start command: - By turning selector switch at Local Control Panel, or - Press button on DCS touch screen at local, or - Press button on DCS screen at Central Control Room START MODE Send a command to start sychronizer (When synchronizer started, it will perform: - Adjusting turbine speed ( Generator frequency) - Adjusting voltage (Generator voltage)) Governor will work according to starting program which had been installed inside itself Send a command to start the Excitation system when speed reachs 98% (n=98%) Open the valve of engineering cooling-water system If synchronizing is OK It will send a signal to close Generator Circuit Breaker (and then Generator will be connected to Power Grid) Complete start sequence logic (Generator will be adjusted the Power, Voltage according to requirements) Start sequence logic of Unit 2 & Unit 3 are the same as Unit 1 when speed reachs 95% (n=95%) START SEQUENCE LOGIC OF UNIT 1
