1. Go to http://webadvisor.tstc.edu

2. Click “Log In” in the upper right corner.

WebAdvisor For FacultyViewing Class Rosters

1. Click “Class Roster” in the Faculty Information Section in the Faculty Menu.

2. Click the Course Name of roster you’d like to view.

a. This roster is the OFFICIAL roster for you course.

b. Online Instructors: If a student is appearing in your MOODLE course that is NOT on your WEBADVISOR roster, please contact Admissions.

c. Face-to-face/hybrid Instructors: If a student is in your course, but not on the roster, please contact Admissions.

3. To view a different course roster, Click “Select a different course section” at the top of the screen.

4. To go back to the Faculty Menu, Click “Faculty Menu” at the top of the WebAdvisor Window.

1. Click “Grading” in the Faculty Information section of the Faculty menu.

2. Select the current semester in the “Term” drop down box and click “Submit”.

3. Do the following:

a. Select “I – Midterm/Intermediate” from the “Final or Midterm/Intermediate Grading” dropdown.

b. Choose the course.

c. Click Submit.

4. Enter one of the following in the “No Show” column

a. SH if the student is attending or participating in the course.

b. NS if the student is NOT attending or participating in the course.

5. Click “Submit”, then “OK”.

Shows and No shows should be done daily in the course for the first week of the semester. If a student is initially marked as “NS” for a course, but has started attending, be sure and make that change in WebAdvisor.

1. Click “Roster Certification” in the Faculty Information Section of the Faculty Menu.

2. Select the Current semester from the “Select a Term” Drop down menu and click “Submit”

3. Select Course to be certified and click “Submit”

4. Verify that the information for your course is correct, including name, instructor, location and meeting times.

Verify the students enrolled in your course. If the information is correct (including students enrolled), Check the “Certify” box then “Submit”.

5. Repeat these steps for all current semester’s courses.

**IF a student is on the roster that has not attended or participated in the course, DO NOT CERTIFY your roster. Contact Admissions immediately. Once the enrollment information is corrected, the roster can then be certified.

1. Click “Grading” in the Faculty Information Section in the Faculty Menu.

2. Select the current term from the “Term” drop down menu and click “Submit”.

3. Do the following:

a. Choose “Midterm/Intermediate” from the “Final or Midterm/Intermediate Grading” drop down.

b. Choose the course.

c. Click Submit.

a. Enter the Students’ midterm grades in the “Midterm” column.

b. Click Submit after all of the course grades are entered.

4. Complete the Following Steps:

a. Enter the Students’ final grades in the “Grade” column.

b. If the Grade is an F, Enter the last date of attendance or participation in the “Last Date of Attendance” column. c. If the student is receiving an IP*, Enter the expiration date of the IP in the “Expire Date” column. *Students receiving an IP will also need to sign an IP contract that is then submitted to the admissions department.

d. Click Submit after all of the course grades are entered.
