AIM

EBQ offers a profound training of three weeks on the basic principles and methods ofepidemiology. An in-depth study of biostatistics (lectures and hands-on tutorials with Rsoftware)with appropriate methods is integrated in the main epidemiological content. Basicprinciples of qualitative research methods will be explained, and introductory seminars onsystematicreview,meta-analysisandmolecularepidemiologyarealsoprogrammed.

PARTICIPANTS’ELEGIBILITYEBQ is directed to young Peruvianbiomedical researchers involved/interested

in epidemiological studies, mainly from

UNAPbutalsoresearchersfromMinistryofhealthandUPCH.

The course will be taught by faculty from

UAntwerpandUPCH,mainlyinSpanishbutbasiclevelonEnglishisrequiredinordertofollowsomespecializedseminarsinthelast

week.
