Business Spotlight on MAE’s This week we spotlight Mae’s. The café and bakery were opened last year by Asia Magness, Maiden native. Since opening, the bakery has enjoyed tremendous success. Mae’s serves up sweets like ice cream, coffee and cakes. The most popular item is the ooey gooey bars. Asia makes cheesecake every Friday but come early, as they often sell out by mid-afternoon.
