PRESIDENT’S REPORTRANDY SMITH, President
I hope everyone had a safe and happy Labor Day.We had a great turnout for our picnic and parade. So thanks to all that attended and those thatworked in putting this event on.
We have had recalls at the Mapleton plant. We also had a CatCouncil meeting in August with Vice-President Norwood Jewell andhis staff to talk about the upcoming contract.
Please make sure you get registered to vote in the year’s electionon November 8th. We will be doing a lot for our labor friendly can-didates so if you like to help please let us know.
We are hearing that the Mossville BB plant will be torn down by theend of the year.
Hopefully, next year will be a better year as 2016 has not been. Ihope to see you at the next meetings.
*Remember we are stronger when we are together. Randy Smith, President
