Following are the priority areas where advocacy
and lobbying has helped to improve the situation

1. Every year on 28th April starting from 2006.
Continuous advocacy with Federal Secretary
Labour & Manpower, Provincial Health
Minister and other senior officers of the federal
and the provincial governments issue for OSH
guideline. Federal Ministry of Labour &
Manpower agreed to form a committee on OSH
but 18th Amendment to the Constitution held up
the work
2. Best Practice Award in OSH&E for the last
seven years.
3. Adopted Enterprise policy on OSH&E in
its Seminar held on 28th April, 2011

5. EFP is working with ITC, Turin

Efficiency
1. After the 18th Constitutional Amendments,
EFP held Meetings at provincial level. EFP
intends to carry out research in the IR area
for preparation of a report with recommend
actions
2. The Labour Inspection A tripartite meeting
held with the Punjab Chief Minister. A 3-day
training programme was arranged
3. Meeting with the Sindh Labour Department.
EFP nominated its representatives on three
committees.
4. Meetings with Labour Department of the
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government

Federal Government’s Steering
Committee on “Gender
Equality”.
