Loan Documentation User Guide
Overview WebEquity Solutions (WES) lending application provides financial institutions with the ability to manage supporting loan documents with a new Credit Action Loan Documentation tab.
To assist in the efficient and accurate transfer of information from loan approval to loan documentation, this enhancement includes (1) a new form to effectively gather the information needed for loan documents and (2) the ability to export the information directly to a loan documentation provider (LaserPro or ComplianceOne).
Features The enhancement allows you to gather information helpful in the loan documentation process into one location. It provides the ability to expedite the information for loan documentation fulfillment and to send loan files to LaserPro or ComplianceOne.

Set Up Access to the enhancement depends on your site configurations, security settings, and subscriptions. The new credit action form for loan documentation consists of predefined fields configured by a system administrator.
Benefits This enhancement can provide one place where you can organize supporting loan documentation to help facilitate a prompt and accurate loan closing.
Definitions TERM EXPLANATION
ComplianceOne ComplianceOne is a third-party vendor that manages loan and account transactions by connecting major parts of your institution (including lending, mortgage, deposit, and IRAs) into one solution. Subscription required.
ComplianceOne was formerly known as ARTA Wolters Kluwer software.
Credit Action Credit Action is a term for a WES form, such as a loan application or credit presentation, customized according to business needs. Users access site choices from the Credit Action drop-down list of the lending application.
Harland Financial LaserPro
LaserPro® is a third-party vendor that manages compliance documentation for multiple loan and deposit account opening types for lenders of all sizes. Subscription required.

Follow these steps to add a new template for your loan documentation processing (blue line).

Step Instructions 1 In Description, type the unique name for this template (EX: Loan Documentation).
2 Click Model Selection Filter link to create a list of available credit action models. Click the Continue & Return link.

Step Instructions 3 Click the Add link to post the new credit action to the list (below).

4 On the row with the new template, click the documents icon .
Loan Doc Prep Forms
Example of Selecting a New Model
5 On the Loan Doc Prep Forms page that appears:
Type your name for the loan documentation preparation form.
Select its Model from the drop-down list and enter an Order number.
Select the Export Group checkbox to export the data to LaserPro.
From the export drop-down list, select the export group to receive the dataof the Loan Doc Prep Form.
Click the Add link.

6 From the line that includes the new model information:
Click the View link to access the Loan Documentation Application Entrypage where you identify the documentation data for the loan.
o Click the Duplicate link to copy this form to the list.o Click the Lock link to prevent changes to the form.o Click the PDF icon (right) to generate a printable report of this data.
Verify that the Export Group checkbox is activated and the correct group isselected to manage the export process.
When complete, click a Save link.
Loan Documentation Application Entry
On Loan Documentation Application Entry, use the drop-down lists, links, text entry fields, and checkboxes to import data from the WebEquity system to this application.
NOTE: Your System Administrator determines the options that apply to your specific institution's settings.
Custom Form Section
Custom Forms can be added to the Loan Documentation Application Entry. These sections will include additional information that will require user input by using the drop-down lists, links, text entry fields, and checkboxes.
The title of each custom form is set up at the Defaults level by your System Administrator.* Options seen in the custom form are set up by your System Administrator.

Entity Summary section consists of borrower information and three links for additional information.

Export Process After a loan is approved, you can export the loan documentation information to a third-party vendor, such as LaserPro or ComplianceOne.
Your site system administration works with the WebEquity implementation team to coordinate how you receive the WES loan documentation files that you can send to your loan documentation vendor.
Export Files After your initial setup, continue to work with WebEquity Professional Services to generate the files to send to LaserPro or ComplianceOne.
1. WebEquity Professional Services e-mails configuration file (.txt) to you. Customize thetext file to import into your LaserPro or ComplianceOne interface.
2. Launch the executable file to download loan files to your site’s export group.

Open the e-mail for the WebEquity Document Downloader configuration file (.txt) and set up or verify the default values that create your executable file.

Application Startup Path defaults to the location of the executable.
Executable File (.exe)
Launch the Web Equity Loan Document Downloader executable file (.exe) to pull current data from WES for the LaserPro process.
GENERAL STEPS: 1. Verify the default for the site’s LaserPro or ComplianceOne license, either LaserPro Basic
or LaserProPlus (circled on example). Both options will be blank for ComplianceOne.2. Complete WebEquity Loan Document Downloader fields.3. Click the Download Loans(s) button.

Executable File (.exe)
Fields
The settings of your site’s configuration file populate the fields of the Loan Document Downloader. Verify or change according to your business needs.
Example of Completed Executable File (LaserPro Basic)
FIELD DESCRIPTION Client Lookup Select loan(s) to download by clicking button(s) to filter according
to Client, Type, and/or Account Number.
Credit Actions Click Description button to identify loans by description of credit action.
Download Loan(s)
Click button to download the selections for your LaserPro file. After the download, a dialog box confirms the import to .txt file(s).
Forms Click Description button to identify loans by description of credit action form.
Loan Doc Prep Loans
Select checkbox to filter loans marked for download on Prep form and/or loans fewer than 60-days old. Default: All loan documentation credit action forms
Loans Click Select Loan(s) button to identify loan(s) you want to download.
Password Verify password associated with WebEquity user name
Select Customers by
Select method to identify customers from drop-down list. For example, show customers by export group, lender staff, or those who are only your clients.
Select Loans by
Select loan type from drop-down list. For example, select all loans, or those not previously downloaded, or only those that were previously downloaded.
User ID Verify or change the default setting of your WebEquity user name.
View Clients Click button to see the last 10 customers used on your loan documentation credit action forms.
WebEquity Web Site Address
Verify default setting for WebEquity URL.
