WHAT IS PAKUA?

Pa Kua is an eight-sided symbol used to help interpret good or bad Feng Shui. It corresponds to four cardinal points of the compass and four sub-directions and derives its significance from the eight

trigrams of I Ching.

WHAT IS LO SHU GRID?

• Lo Shu is a magic square, comprising an arrangement of nine numbers into a three-by-three grid that first appeared about 4,000 years ago on the back of a turtle. The square exerted a powerful and mystical influence on Chinese cultural symbolism. It has mysterious pattern that forms the basis for Chinese architectural planning.

THE MAGIC OF LO SHU GRID

The magic square symbolizes the natural order of the universe. It contains the numbers 1 to 9, dividing it into nine parts. No matter which way the numbers of the square are tallied, they add up to 15. The outside grids stand for each corner of the house, like compass directions. The Chinese compass marks the South on top. Number 9 represents South. The number 3 will be East and 7 will be West.

WHAT IS LO SHU FENG SHUI

Lo-Shu Feng-Shui is believed to be extremely potent and is based on the two premier symbols of Feng Shui practice the

eight-sided Pa-Kua and the nine sector Lo Shu magic square. The eight sides

corresponds to the eight directions of the compass and the eight sides of the

Pa-Kua, and one in the centre.

WAYS OF LOOKING A CHART. The top row represent the head of a person. The middle row represents the body &, the bottom row

represents the legs and feet.

The top row is usually regarded as the Mental Plane. It encompasses thinking, creating, imagining, and analyzing.

The middle row is called the Emotional Plane. This plane includes spirituality, intuition, feelings, and emotions.

The bottom row is called the Practical Plane. This encompasses physical labor, the ability to be good with one’s hands and the ability to be practical in everyday life. To use the head-legs analogy again, the feet are firmly placed on the ground in the Practical Plane.

The vertical rows are also interpreted. The first of these is the Thought Plane. This reveals the person’s ability at coming up with ideas, creating things, and carrying them through to fruition.

The middle vertical row is the Will Plane. This gives the determination and persistence to succeed.

The final vertical row is the Action Plane. This shows the person’s ability at putting their thoughts into action.
