    YOUR ONE-STOP GUIDE TO THE

    DIOCESE OF TOLEDO’S PARISH FESTIVALS

  • D I O C E S E O F T O L E D OF E S T I V A L G U I D E2 2 0 1 8

Welcome to the Diocese of Toledo’s 2018 Festival Guide

W elcome to the Diocese of Toledo’s 2018 Festival Guide. Each summer we are blessed with a bounty of parish festivals to attend, all across our diocese.

We have countless volunteers and dedicated festival Chairpersons to thank for their hard work and commitment for keeping this generational tradition alive. Attending parish festivals allows us to spend time with our families and get reacquainted with our friends while we acknowledge our faith and the opportunity to evangelize to others.

Each year, our goal is to make the guide as accurate as possible and as accessible as possible. We make regular updates to the guide as the year progresses, as some festivals occur late in the fall. You will see that some parishes have information presented as display ads with detailed information on special foods, kids games, cash raffles and musical entertainment.

Featured listings are highlighted in yellow, indicating that there is also a display ad associated with it. Since many parishes hold

festivals later in the year, some listings are noted as “to be announced” until we receive accurate dates and times. If your parish

festival was accidentally omitted, or you see an error, please email your correction to us.

Last, but not least, we give our deepest thanks to every parish that helped support publication of this guide. Your advertisements made it possible to continue to bring this information to our community. Very special thanks goes out to our 2018 Diocesan Festival Guide Community Sponsor, Joe Holmes, owner of Reger’s Church and Religious Supplies. Joe continues to bless us with his dedication to serving the Catholic community and we are very grateful for his assistance.

We pray for the success of each festival and the enjoyment of our communities of faith!

Attending parish festivals allows us to spend time with our families and get reacquainted with our friends while we acknowledge our faith and the opportunity to evangelize to others.

    ~ SERVING TOLEDO SINCE 1921 ~

I am proud to be the Community Sponsor

of the 2018 Diocese of Toledo Festival Guide.

Attending our Catholic parish festivals never grows o

ld for me – they are always a welcome

sign of the return of beautiful weather and a source

of fun, faith-fi lled activities. In a world

where we all spend too much time in isolation on

    our electronic devices, Catholic parish

festivals offer a wholesome opportunity to re-conne

ct with each other in conversation and

companionship. At Reger’s, we strive to serve our c

ommunity of faith every day. We know

that without the support of our many parishes and p

arishioners, it would be impossible for

us to continue to provide our comprehensive selection

    of church supplies and

religious gifts throughout the 19 counties of the d

    iocese. It means more

to me than I can say when you choose to “shop lo

    cal” with us, instead

of through other means, like the internet. Your con

    tinued patronage of

Reger’s also allows us to give back to our own comm

    unity in many ways,

such as in our ability to deliver the annual Diocese o

    f Toledo Directory to

    each parish and school.

I wish you a wonderful and exciting summer, fi ll

    ed with special

festival memories. And, once again, I thank you s

    incerely for

your continued support and kindness throughout t

    he coming

    months.

    Joe Holmes,

    Owner , Reger’s
