ShIaWaSSee FaIR Queen Sarah Stickel is the daughter of Dale and Rhonda Stickel. She will be graduating this year from Corunna High School and plans to attend Lansing Community College to pursue a certification in American Sign Language and then transfer to Michigan State university for a degree in special education. Sarah is currently a member of National Honor Society and Corunna Drama Club. She is also a Junior Advisor on the Shiawassee County Fair board and also serves on the Junior Livestock board. She is a member of the Rural Venture 4-H Club and is the Corunna FFA Chapter Secretary. Sarah shows market lambs, poultry and market rabbits at the Shiawassee County Fair, where she has exhibited for 10 years. In her spare time, Sarah loves to bake pies, make dinner for her family or snacks for her FFA Chapter Skill Contest practice.
ShIaWaSSee FaIR Queen attendant Madison Chmiko is the daughter of Rene’ Chmiko and Mike Chmiko. She will graduate from owosso High School this year and is currently dual enrolled at baker College of owosso majoring in criminal justice. Madison’s future plans include attending Michigan State university to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine. She is active in the owosso band program and has competed in the solo and ensemble contests receiving superior ratings. She is also part of the State Champion High School equestrian team at owosso High School and also competes on the swim team. Madison has shown rabbits, cavies and horses at the Shiawassee County Fair for 13 years. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in the barn with her horses.
