It is one thing to read about the life of a master or read thewords that he has spoken; it is altogether more awe inspir-

ing and emotionally moving to be in the presence of a masterwho is communicating heart to heart with his students. It has been my privilege and joy to be witness to the reality andshining effulgence of such a one—a true adept known simplyand affectionately as beloved Afra.

The Master Afra is a divine being who commands thepower of love, who soulfully emanates the light of brother-hood, and who embodies the flame of freedom with great acumen. It is impossible not to be lovingly stunned and utter-ly transformed in and by his Presence. The eloquence of hiswords—spoken with a deep, resonant voice and reverentialtone—obviously originate from a sacred place of cosmic con-sciousness and uniquely highlight his oneness with the DivineOne. His messages quicken the mind unto a new awakeningand pierce the heart to create a new and more expressive open-ing and expansiveness.

It is by special dispensation that an ascended master isallowed to reveal his name so that unascended mankind maycall to him. For by keying into his name, we have access to thematrix of light and the causal body of attainment of that mas-ter’s Presence. Through the use of his name, healings andother miraculous manifestations may occur, so long as thedevotee has faith that by calling upon the name of the Lordthrough this master, he has access to all goods and graces

the master may bestow—for the master is one with God’s eternal Spirit.

This understanding of the science of invocative prayer isnow coming to the fore of mankind’s outer awareness. Thus,many are now using the names of various divine personages,including angelic and cosmic beings, while giving their dailydevotions, mantras, or prayers and while sitting in silent med-itation. This brings them great spiritual benefits and upliftsmankind and the planetary body in the process. Although anindividual may seem alone, through the intercession of thesaints and sages of heaven, he is never truly bereft of the Presence of God around him when he utilizes the scienceof intentional and spoken prayer. This process goes wellbeyond the archaic approach of beseeching God to fulfill one’shuman needs.

The illustrious Ascended Master Afra revealed his nameover thirty years ago to a modern visionary mystic. Afra, whoembodied upon Africa hundreds of millennia ago, was the firstamong many lifestreams to ascend from this continent. Henow sponsors many of those who have continued to reembodyupon that soil, and elsewhere upon Earth, to fulfill their souls’evolution. Afra, whose name is derived from the same root asthe word fraternity, meaning brotherhood, is truly a brother tomany on the return path to God’s heart through the ascen-sion—the merging of the soul with the Spirit in a permanentdivine union.

Afra models the essence of soulfulness, born of compas-sion and kindness, which he wraps into a gracious offering ofhis Selfhood on the altar of humanity. He is beyond reproach.His every word elicits a desire to be fully present in eternal lovethrough the heightened sensitivity that can be accessed withinthe amazing light-energy field that he wields. Listening withrapt attention to his orations, we feel the consequences of our

every thought, feeling, and word, and we are compelled tostrive to be more godlike and virtuous.

Inspirational speeches, religious sermons, and wannabe-guru discourses are a dime a dozen. Rarely does a true adeptwho has conquered self and reunited with Spirit appear in themidst of human beings. Rarer still are those who have the abil-ity to help us overcome our lower nature with words that areaglow with the fire and grace of living love.

If, as Marshall McLuhan says, “the medium is the mes-sage,” beloved Afra’s therapeutic HeartStreams are bothcathartic and convincing. His ability to cut to the core of ourunresolved issues, hidden in the shadows of our subconsciousbeings, stuns the egoic mind and incites us to finish ourgreater inner work of knowing our Selves. Through some sortof divine magic, he intuits our thoughts and answers our liferiddles in such a sublime yet sanguine way that we instantlyfeel the inner shift in our souls. We are emboldened to actuntil we too have secured our eternal freedom in the light.

As a master who often refers to himself simply as a “holybrother,” Afra embodies everything we could desire in a truefriend—a caring benefactor and a learned teacher. Being in hispresence and communing with him is fellowship of a higherorder—a union of hearts, minds, and souls in intimatemoments as we experience in his aura the magnitude of peaceand the power of brotherhood on a planetary scale. As manytrue masters do, Afra works behind the scenes so as not todraw into his sphere of awareness the outer attention of theuntrustworthy, the fanatical, or the profane. Only those whopractice honesty, integrity, and kindness will magnetize hisheart to theirs, and theirs to his.

In the mystical traditions of the Great White Brotherhood(white referring to divine light and not to race), Afra standsalongside the Master Alchemist Saint Germain as another holy

brother—their missions indissolubly linked, their universalminds one, and their fiery hearts forever yoked in a sacredunion of brotherhood, enlightenment, freedom, and love. Infact, the ascension dates of both of these two great beings arein exact polarity—Saint Germain’s is the first of May andAfra’s is the first of November, which is also All Saints’ Day in the Catholic calendar of holy days. Having witnessed firsthand the blazing Solar auras of both ascended masters, I can attest to the fact that both wield tremendous divine lightand both are divine magicians and planetary arhats of thehighest order.

Afra has communed with his students by releasing ongo-ing revelation through me as an amanuensis since the third ofApril 2005, when he came to Detroit and first called his ownto rise up and fulfill their reason for being. It was befitting thathe would anchor his light there, since Detroit has a great concentration of African-Americans and, as the spiritual solarplexus of the United States, has been a key city in the expan-sion of business and commerce, especially through the automotive industry, from the heartland to the EasternSeaboard. Afra’s great and tender caring for his own race hasbeen evident; and yet, he counts us all as brothers and sisters.He has said that at one time or another, everyone upon theEarth has embodied upon the African continent.

This book is the first in a series containing inspirationaldiscourses of beloved Afra that I was privileged to hear withmy own spiritual ears and to deliver in as accurate a renditionas is humanly possible. As a result of a request made by theElohim Arcturus in the autumn of 2006 during a HeartsCenter pilgrimage to Egypt, a group of spiritual devotees hasbeen gathering by conference call on a weekly basis eachSunday evening to meditate, pray, and chant for the reunitingof all peoples in brotherhood and love. These individuals have

focused their work on behalf of all nations upon the Africancontinent and the peoples of these nations who are now spreador reembodied throughout the world. All are considered a partof Afra’s sacred brotherhood/sisterhood of the Spirit.

In this volume, Afra answers thirty-three interesting andpoignant questions posed to the Master from these students,whom he refers to as holy brothers and sisters. The questionswere compiled by this devoted body of heartfriends, and nowit is time for this instruction to be shared worldwide.

I am heartened by the release of this book of Afra’s mes-sages, complemented by various prayers, songs, inspirations,and testimonies of his tangible reality in the lives of his broth-ers and sisters. For those of us who have witnessed his eternallonging and his great work on the inner planes to raisemankind into higher consciousness, he stands as a pillar oflight and a supreme example of selfless service and brotherlylove. For those of us who can carry on his mission through ourprayer vigils and through tangible works of sacrifice and serv-ice, Afra lives, moves, and has his being through us even now.

Future volumes in this series will provide teachings sharedthrough over a hundred additional discourses by both Afra and other ascended masters who appeared in the midst of pil-grims during their travels to Egypt (autumn 2006), SouthAfrica (spring 2009), New York (autumn 2010), and Ghana(autumn 2011).

Afra’s powerful messages continue today, and the work ofpromoting the resolution of conflict by spiritual means andenlightened dialogue is ongoing among those who humblyserve this great master and his cause of light through modelingdivine love in their daily lives. With the serious challenges wesee across the Earth in the outplaying of ancient karmasbetween peoples and nations, it is imperative that we hold to the awareness of the Christic/Buddhic light—the

God-flame—that burns within each of us. As we uphold thereality of each one’s divinity through acceptance and under-standing, a new era of true brotherhood may appear uponEarth. And it is certain that the beloved ascended master Afrawill play a key role in bringing this about. My hope and prayeris that you too will be anointed and emboldened by Afra’s callsto action to consecrate your life’s energies to your highest pathof light in the spirit of brotherhood.

Introduction

Seventy-thousand years ago, a golden-age civilization of theblue and violet races lived harmoniously on the continent

that we now know as Africa. They were dedicated to the will ofGod and devoted to his principles of mercy and justice. Throughtheir practice of divine rituals, they were able to maintain theirconnection with higher realms of light.

This civilization thrived during the time of Lemuria, whenthe culture of the Mother had reached its zenith. Yet at a certainpoint, souls who had turned to darkness sought to drive a wedgeinto the established culture of unity and harmony. Peace was dis-rupted and the stage was set for the downward spiraling of thecivilization. Divisiveness, caused by a false sense of duality, tookroot during this time, and the basic sanities and civilities of lifewere eventually lost as brother warred against brother.

A great soul in the realms of spirit saw the plight of the blueand violet races and sought permission from the Karmic Boardto descend to Earth to help them. With permission granted, thisdivine being took embodiment on the continent of Africa toshow the people how to dissolve their differences through thesacred fires of brotherhood. As Jesus and other avatars have done,he traveled extensively to spread his message, depositing into theethers of every locale the memory-traces of unity. He was the liv-ing spirit of brotherhood in embodiment at that time, whosemission was to save the African peoples from self-destruction.His message, “We are brethren,” hallowed the space throughwhich he passed and charged each atom of man and nature with soulfulness.

Delivering his message was not without its dangers, yet thisdid not stop him—his love for mankind was greater than the fearof death. He lived his message everywhere he went. His everygesture was the song of brotherhood; his every look was throughthe “eyes of the heart,” aflame and alive with kindness, compas-sion, and brotherly love. The eloquence of his speech resembledthe music of the spheres. This was Afra, the epitome of the spiritof brotherhood. He ultimately fulfilled his purpose in raisingsouls out of mediocrity and ascended over thirty-five thousandyears ago.

Fast forward to April 2005. The ascended master Afra isspeaking to a small group of spiritual seekers in Detroit throughhis amenuensis David Christopher Lewis about the urgent needto resolve conflict in both their city and among the nationsthrough embracing the spirit of brotherhood. His message suggested that the descendants of the blue and violet races (manyof whom are among the black race today) have special gifts toshare with other races that could aid in this resolution.

In October of 2006, a group of pilgrims from The HeartsCenter gathered in Luxor, Egypt, where Afra and other ascendedmasters called for a more active effort on the part of their students in offering violet-fire prayers on behalf of the Africancontinent. They spoke again of the struggle of the African peopleand requested that those who resonated with these souls committo coming together regularly to pray for the transmutation of theakashic records of their tumultuous history, as well as for a newinfusion of divine light and love into these nations, her peoples,and all those of African descent around the world.

Following that trip, a group of students began holding weekly prayer vigils for the healing of Africa. Through the vigils,they have been dedicating their energy to assist the ascendedmasters and the angels in dispelling the darkness that hovers overthat beloved continent.

The group also met by phone for several weeks to formulatethirty-three questions to ask Afra in a series of six darshan sessions. In Sanskrit, darshan literally means “seeing,” “viewing,”or “perceiving.” Through darshan, a spiritual master or ascendedbeing may commune with his or her students. When in the pres-ence of such a holy one, the disciple may experience the master’sspiritual essence and the light of truth that he or she bears. In thisinstance, the group of devotees felt the expansion of that lightwithin their hearts and minds as Afra released, through these discourses, the fullness of his love and wisdom, charged with hisspirit of brotherhood. In Part One, you will read the questionsthat they asked Afra and his responses.

Since 2005, Afra has also been releasing HeartStreamsthrough David Christopher Lewis, which David receives throughthe grace and power of the Holy Spirit. Part Two includes theseaddresses, delivered during services, pilgrimages, and specialevents. Beloved ones, the spirit of brotherhood that I bear is an eternal flame, a divine radiance that is effused through all

membranes of consciousness of all lifestreams throughout thecosmos. It is that which links all into a commonality of holy purpose and divine unity, sanctifying and raising, through a fieldof cosmic activity, the work of all.

The spirit of brotherhood is effused through the soul in acollective solar consciousness and is at the core of each one’sidentity in God. The Divine One placed within the beingness ofall created life an aspect of himself as that spirit-spark, and it isfrom this point of reference that the experiential nature of lightis manifest. The spirit of brotherhood, as the spirit of Afra, iswhat blends the soul-realities of all into a kaleidoscopic, harmon-ic representation that is beautiful to behold, to feel, and to know.

When you experience this state of awareness within yoursoul, there is a divine comprehension of the essence of everyother soul that is connected to you. You feel at a deep level ofbeingness the essence of others as a part of yourself—and youressence as part of the greater soul awareness of all sons anddaughters of God. Though there is specificity and differentiationin each one’s evolutionary path and experience, at this level ofawareness there is a profound glory that may be known by each

without this interconnectedness, which is a manifestation ofGod’s respect and honor for each created being as a part of him-self. There could be no world and the interplay of life upon eachworld without the linking of all life together as one. It simply is,because this isness, this suchness, is God.

Therefore, to feel the spirit of brotherhood of Afra, blendyour voices together as one voice; blend your soul awarenesstogether as one great soul; blend your heart fires together with anew radiance of divine love that will suffuse itself throughout theworld in divine joy to bring about the true brotherhood of theSpirit, which is beyond all barriers, all borders, all biases. Beloved Afra, why are there different races on the planet, and does each race

represent a specific cosmic energy?

As children, many of you had Crayola crayons and coloredupon your paper something that spoke to you of your

world. God speaks through all of his created sons and daughters.God experiences the creation through his creatures. Would youhave only one color in your Crayola box or would you have manyin order to convey, through a beautiful rendering, somethingfrom your heart that you may show your teacher, your friend,your parents?

In a childlike spirit, return to an understanding that race isnot important. Is one color within your Crayola box better thananother, smarter, more noble? No, of course not. Each can lenditself to delivering to your creation something of beauty.

God is a great artisan of the Spirit, and written across the cosmos and painted through all substance is the glory ofdivinity—God. The various races that have evolved upon Earthare evolutions that have embodied in domains and time periodsthat allow them to evolve, experience the creation, grow, learn,master life, and move on to higher worlds of understanding andbeauty. There is a frequency and a specificity within each racethat is an essence of godly intent. This energy manifests throughthose within that culture and race who resonate with that frequency of light. All are ennobled by the strain of light of


which they are composed and the harmonic stream throughwhich they evolve.

Through objectivity, rise above the Earth to see the planet as one whole, one teeming orb of light and life. From this viewpoint, which is a Solar viewpoint, you may see how all arenecessary, all are a part of the turning of this world in light. It isonly through duality that you diversify your consciousness andsee the differences rather than the similarities of oneness; instead of a collective oneness, you see a fragmentation amongst God’s creatures.

All those who rise in the new consciousness of Aquariusmust come to terms with the oneness of all life, with the harmony of all created sons and daughters and creatures, andwith the diversity within the unity of life that makes it beautiful.Through a new understanding of culture, you will see how allevolved from the heart of one Mother. Does a mother, a truemother, love one child more than all the others? Or does a truemother love all equally?

Hold the immaculate concept for every race, nation, culture,and people by highlighting the highest and best and focusingyour attention there; and thereby you will bring into manifesta-tion a new harmony of thinking and feeling.

Beloved Afra, Jesus, Mary, Joseph, andMoses are usually depicted with whiteskin. This is the perception of many; however, it is surrounded by much controversy. Can you comment

on this matter?

The skin is the outer layer of the veils of flesh of mankind. Why, O mankind, are you so focused on the least important

of that which you see of your brethren and sisters? When youhave a greater divine connection, you will see beyond the outerskin tones to the inner man and woman of the heart, to the soulitself, to the flame of God dynamically vibrating and pulsingwithin each lifestream. This is what you should focus on withinall evolutions and not simply on what you see as a coloration ofthe epidermis.

Look directly into the heart of every individual and you willsee the same essence of God, no matter what the outer skin coloror tone or pigmentation. Does it matter whether Jesus and Moseswere fair, medium, or dark skinned? Look at the message of theman or woman, of the example of a life lived for and in God.This is what you should study and understand and not be distracted by outer appearances.

If you take time to know yourself as God, you will begin toknow every other individual as God also. It starts with you! It


starts with your intent, your heart, your God-desire to know allothers—through respect, reverence, and holiness—as a part ofself, and self as a part of all others, and all as a part of the whole.

Look at the races of mankind even as you see the rainbowabove you after a storm when the light of the sun shines throughthe water, creating this miracle manifestation of divine glory asthe bow in the heavens. If God created the rainbow with all of these beautiful colors, choose to see the races of mankind asrepresentative of the various rays and colors, even as they areexpressed in nature, and how each is a representation of a specificfrequency and quality of the whole. When the sunlight passesthrough the prism, that which you considered white is now multicolored in a beautiful array of glory.

From one seed, all mankind evolved. Look back to the FirstCause, the first seed ideation, and understand how all in the family of mankind—through all races, nations, and peoples—have evolved from one seed of light. Therefore you are of oneFather/Mother; you are all brothers and sisters of the One. Thereshould be no division or separation or sense of good, better orbest. For in the eyes of God, all are created equal as a part of thatOne. Simply put, get beyond your skin—go to the Source.

Beloved Afra, could you tell us more about the ancient golden-age civilization that existed on the continent of Africa?

Iset before the screen of your higher mind and your inner vision a visual rendering of the height of this divine civilization of

light. In it you will note, first and foremost, the divine reality ofeach lifestream, which can be seen as a great and transcendentaura blazing forth through each one’s conscious awareness. Thisinterpenetration of the Solar Presence of each one throughoutthe society maintained a harmonic resonance that resulted in thestability of the light flowing through the entire culture.

Whereas most people today are concerned with the outertrappings of civilization and the advancement of technologiesand sciences, what allowed this civilization to maintain itsintegrity was the oneness of all lifestreams with their Source,their focused attention upon their Presence, and the collectiveawareness of all as being part of the whole and one with that whole.

Thus, the collective aura of this golden-age civilization,which existed for over eight thousand years within the regionnow known as the Sahara Desert and extending southward andeastward into other regions, was one of great God-glory. Centersof learning existed throughout the region, and divine beingswalked and talked with mankind as their higher teachers, often


using what you now term the Socratic method to first expoundupon the higher wisdom of light and then to draw forth fromtheir students their own divine intelligence. The amplification ofthe yellow ray, as the golden light of the sun through the mindsof all within this culture, naturally brought forth the highest levelof integrative wisdom and was utilized throughout the culture inall domains and in every decision.

The Master Saint Germain, the ruler of this civilization at itsheight, was there and acted as a mediator between the heavenworld and the earth plane. The people had access, as you see itnow upon this screen of light, to aerial navigation that utilizedtechnology far beyond what you use today and that did not pollute the atmosphere of the planet.

There was an understanding of the culture of the Mother,and therefore the divine light of the Mother was revered in temples, twelve in number, throughout the domain of this civi-lization. Within these temples the seven major rainbow rays, aswell as the divine qualities of what you call the five crystal rays,were invoked, spread abroad, and utilized for the maintenance of light in all areas of society. There was a commingling of consciousness with elemental life and with angelic presences,whereby the three kingdoms merged almost as one in benevolentharmony and in the work of creating and sustaining this level ofspiritual advancement.

Within the homes of the common man, woman, and familyin that hour were great divine glories that manifested through theelemental kingdom in wonderful and variegated expressions of plant life. The elementals who served mankind were moreconscious of their soul group and their solar awareness than aremany elementals today who are trapped in animal bodies.

The waters were pure, pristine, and clear, blue-aqua in theircoloration. Many fountains magnificently expressed the flow oflight of the Mother in a dance, a pulsating action that expressed

the natural, joyous, and buoyant nature of water. Young childrenplaying in the parks and natural settings would often be reminded of the magnificence of the divine world through theinterplay of light, color, sound, and harmony in the delightfulexpressions of joy within these fountains.

Solar temples, or divine solariums, existed everywhere,where people could connect with the light of Helios and Vesta.They would step within a circle of light in these sacred crystalpyramids, spheres, and domes of light and focus their attentionupon the sun, without harm to their physical eyes, and berecharged within a few moments as the full pressure of the radi-ance and glory of the Solar Presence of these divine Godparentsof this system of worlds charged the very essence of their beings.

There were many amphitheaters in which the highest aspectsof culture were portrayed in drama, song, and other forms ofentertainment. Those with the highest level of attainmentbrought forth their creativity through many expressions, whichinspired and reenergized the audience, causing a great divinehush as the Spirit moved through the physical bodies of all to create a bountiful harvest of light within these sacred arenas. Itwas as if the highest of the cultural output that you have seenwithin your civilizations of recent centuries was brought to bearin the most glorious and noble ways—without violence, banalconsciousness, or base desire. Stories of ancient valor were toldand retold to the youth in many ways to reinspire them with theglory of the higher spheres and with the knowledge of what ispossible for mankind to attain to when their energies are focusedon divine love, wisdom, and power in their pure essence.

A fraternal spirit of divine brotherhood and sisterhood wasever present throughout the culture, whereby through a simpleexpression—a reverential glance, a bow of the head, or a nod—the sign of heart connection was made, one with another,whether known or unknown. It was an expression of one’s

acknowledgment of the Divine within all, as all were seen as holyand accepted as their Higher Self.

This spirit of peace, tranquility, and radiance allowed for anylifestream to be received into the home of any other at any time,where full reverential and deferential treatment was offered andaccepted. It was as if all souls saw themselves as ambassadors oflight, welcoming every lifestream into the arena of their domainsof light and rendering service in the most humble, divine way.

Although I could go more into the technologies of the Spiritthat were utilized, suffice it to say that many of these were bornof and sprang forth from the higher Presence of divine philoso-phers, scientists, and priests and priestesses of the sacred fire. Thetechnologies were shared freely, for the compensation for theirdiscovery, development, and inculcation within society as awhole was the great joy of sharing these co-creations with all andwas not motivated by a spirit of hoarding and withholding thattechnology from the masses for financial gain, as is done today.

Through an understanding of the Source itself, which isconstantly in a state of effulgent givingness, each soul understoodthat the by-product of God’s emanating fire is a spirit of divinejoy whereby all is shared. And in that sharing is the multiplica-tion of light and the eventual return unto the self of that radiance, compounded and multiplied by the divine factor of thelove vouchsafed and offered within the sharing. If mankindcould understand this one principle of maintaining the connec-tion with the Source through giving and receiving abundantlyand freely, all sense of lack would disappear. For in giving freelyfrom the heart, a divine equation is manifested whereby that connection is assured, is strong, and one always has all that he orshe requires to fulfill every righteous request or need.

The Master Saint Germain, in his great God-givingness, hasmost wonderfully expressed the science of divine alchemy, and itwould behoove each and every one of you to again study his


words of love to understand more of which I speak.2 That alchemy is locked within the formula of the words themselves,which key you into higher mindfulness, heart-centeredness, andthe ultimate joy and bliss of your eternal union.

You may ask for the divine memory of your own existenceduring these times (if you were a part of this culture) to bereturned to you in increments through inspiration, and even during your sleep or times of meditation, in order to bring backgreater nuances of light, higher knowledge, and gnosis that willallow you to express, even in this hour, more of the noble natureof God through your joint co-creation as man and woman.

Beloved Afra, who are the violet and blueraces? And how did the Afrans of theseancient races judiciously employ the first and seventh rays in those civilizations?

Within each root race there is the descent of lifestreamsthrough the seven rays of consciousness. The first wave of

light beings within the fourth root race descended into incarna-tion upon the blue ray. This is what you have called the blue race.There was a predominance of the magnificence of the first ray ofthe dawn within their auras, charging them with the light andthe energy of will, power, and God-determination to fulfill theirmission, which manifested as a powerful energy within their auras.

These beings, great in stature, muscular in their appearance,were able to cognize their purpose at a very high frequency oflight through their minds. They sprang forth to fulfill all withgreat intent and saw each day as an opportunity for higher worksof light to be expressed and brought forth in their lives. Oftenthese were the instigators of many foundational works, settingthe framework for all ensuing evolutions who would descendthrough the remaining six rays to add and blend the momentumof light within their auras to the equation of light and life on Earth.


As each wave of lifestreams descended, there was a commin-gling of the rays, and each generational divine family received theimpetus of their forbears. All were blessed through this blendingprocess and learned from the others their particular qualificationof energy and divine radiance. Thus when the seventh wavedescended, they were expected to be the culmination of all of theseven rays within the violet light. They lived as a magnificent representation of that which came before, fulfilled within thelight of the violet ray. And they assisted those of the other rayswho had reembodied, using the power of that violet ray and itsessence of freedom, liberty, and the alchemy of priestly being-ness. Thus, these were the true inheritors of the light of freedomon behalf of all mankind within the fourth root race.

There is something special about the first and the seventhrays, the Alpha and Omega of this divine process of the descentof light through the rainbow spectrum of consciousness. Onesets the seed for all ensuing root races, and one harvests thatwhich has grown and expanded from that seed through the creative process of life itself. Then, as the bearer of that harvestand the fruit thereof, those of the seventh ray offer the fruit, withits divine seed, to those of subsequent root races to again seed theEarth with new light, new energy, new spirit.

Those of you who feel within your core the essence of thisdivine equation can know yourselves as the arbiters of light whowork on behalf of many generations and root races upon the Earth. You are all fulfilling your purpose in this age andhopefully moving on to greater God-attainment and levels of initiation and spiritual advancement. Therefore as co-creatorsand co-reapers of light, see yourselves advancing the entire Solar civilization of the Earth by once more seeding the Earth with thehighest level of your own spiritual fire and reaping on behalf ofmankind, through the culmination of all that the seventh ray so

beautifully expresses, that which will move forward all light-bearers upon Earth.

You may manifest within your auras the crystalline pattern-ing of light of all the seven rainbow rays and the higher nuancesof the Buddhic rays, five in number, whereby you are a tree of lifein your own auric domain. And within and upon the branches,the leaves, and the fruits of your tree of life, God writes the law,the wisdom, the love, the purity, the harmony, the science, theservice and ministration, and the alchemy of freedom. Yourcausal body is this tree of light and life. As you fulfill all withineach ray—the initiations, the progressive learning experiences,and your divine adventures through the sacred mysteries—youennoble God in his co-creation of you and as you. And as a partof the greater collective arbor and forest of light of all higherbeings, you take your place in the great antahkarana of divineradiance as your Buddha nature is fulfilled within the Mother’shigher domain of life.

The blue and violet races are racing toward their destinythrough brotherhood, peace, joy, and divine love for all. Speedon, O soul, to the eternal star-fire of perfection of that Solar destiny! Win the race in this hour, and know God fully!

Beloved Afra, who are the members of the blue and violet races today?

Are they one or two races and what is their divine destiny?

The blue and violet races are two issues of God’s creativebeingness. Because there has been a blending of the evolu-

tions upon Earth through intermarriage over eons of time, thesoul essence of the blue race, as progenitors of the original seedideation of their particular Manu’s archetypal spirit, has beeneffused throughout the Earth. Though many have ascended,there are yet those living upon the Earth who carry the seed ofGod-power and the authority of the first ray that is required todirect the course of civilization, and these often feel a greatimpelling within them to lead mankind higher.

The violet race is comprised of those who, through theirgreat love (the pink ray), merged with the God-power of the bluelight to manifest the essence of the violet ray and energy. Thesefeel the compelling of the Divine to complete spirals, to wrap upthe initiatic path into a virtuous godly representation of the fullflowering of the essence of all of the seven rays in their rainbow-light manifestation.

Through this intermarriage and the merging of cultures and peoples over tens of thousands of years, there has been a harmonic convergence of these rays that brings out their highest

qualities. The violet contains the blue and also accentuates love(the pink) within it. El Morya has recently spoken of the newblue waves and energies descending from the Great Central Sun.This new blue light within the violet manifests as that “blueness”and is impressed by new Solar frequencies from the Divine One.

Some of you have evolved through the blue race. You arespiritual leaders in your domain, both within this movement ofThe Hearts Center and in other arenas, whereby you impactthousands upon Earth who are yet to fulfill their divine destinywithin this age through their particular representation of the blueray at the core of their identity. Others of you who resonate morewith the frequencies of violet, purple, and all of the colorationsthereof feel the great compelling within to assist mankind inwrapping up and completing their evolutionary cycle. Thereforeas the blue energy merges with the second, third, fourth, fifth,and sixth rays, it is brought to fruition within the seventh ray.

There are those who are offspring of the blue race who leadwithin the inner government of the Spirit. Many of these arethose who understand the science of the spoken word and havean inner resonance with the power of that word that flowsthrough their throat chakras. Likewise, those of the seventh race,the violet race, have a deep core resonance within their soul withthe power of alchemy and the flame of forgiveness and mercy.The tenderness of that ray, which manifests through the flame ofbrotherhood, is a very subtle rendering of the highest aspects ofthe blue and the violet—the blue, which holds all within its flow-field to the standard of the will of God; and the violet, which isa more expressive energy field. The blue is concentrated and theviolet is more diffused, and so you see the effects of these rays inthe very life energy of these races.

You could say that those of the blue race are more yang, andthose of the violet are more yin—the yang (blue), being moremasculine, and the yin (violet), being more feminine in their


expressive nature. These two races, in balance with each other,create the totality of the whole through the tai-chi of the One.And therefore there is a great push-pull action of this yin-yang,Father-Mother, male-female, positive-negative energy, which co-creates the new world—the new-world experience of brother-hood, prosperity, and peace.

When you say from your core, “Peace, my brother, my sister,” the essence of brotherhood, which moves through peace,will manifest through the sign of peace that you send forththrough your upraised hand, a salute of the Spirit, a handshake,an embrace, or a bow in recognition of the inner divinity of thosewhom you greet. Therefore whatever sign of brotherhood youexhibit, within that core signature of light the flame of CosmicChrist Peace also flows. This is the Shalom, the Salem, theSalaam that is at the very center of the storm, at the very centerof beingness, where all are embraced within that sphere of perfectChrist-peace.

Therefore let peace be your byword. Within the flame ofpeace, which radiates a deep purple hue, you have an even greaterconcentration of the blue and the violet merged together in apowerful action. For through this sword (sacred word) of theSpirit, peace may manifest upon Earth through brotherhood,and it is only through true brotherhood that everlasting peacemay reign on Earth.

Beloved Afra, how do you explain the term Great White Brotherhood tomembers of the blue and violet races?

Very tactfully must the words flow from and upon yourtongue to explain the light of purity that flows through the

stream of cosmic intelligence of this ancient society of light. TheGreat denotes the One, the God within all, of all, through all.

When explaining the White, look to the light of the sun asan example. For though there is a brilliance that is golden incolor, there is also the cosmic purity of beingness that is at thecore of that sun, which is both the totality of all expressions ofGod and all colors merged into one. Also share your understand-ing of the expressionless, formless, and dimensionless essence ofGod before creation itself—before the white light was differenti-ated. Focus not on skin color, race, ethnicity, culture, or gender;focus on the essence of beingness that is within every heart.Those are only outer characteristics born on the winds of solarevolution. We are concerned with the essence and core of life thatis the white light, which we of the Great White Brotherhoodembody, even in our bodiless forms of light.

The word brotherhood in our name signifies sacred commu-nity, the merging and blending of the many into a whole, intooneness. It is the melding of many heart fires into a cosmic family, where all are respected, known, cherished, and upheld as brothers and sisters. Where there is brotherhood, there is


understanding. Where there is cherishment, all can remain eachother’s brother, sister, keeper, friend, benefactor, and supporter.Brotherhood is the undergirding of society through the greaterfamily of mankind and womankind. Brotherhood is the sustain-ing of the antahkarana—the web of life—whereby each memberis touched and strengthened by another through the attentionand the pulsation that flows through that web of light and life. Brotherhood creates cosmic sinews of strength througha bonding of hearts in various forms of activity, communication,gatherings. Every gathering, whether virtual or physical, can be atime of the commingling of your highest mind essences andheart fires in sharing, in co-creativity.

It is the synergy of brotherhood that sustains our greaterunity. Therefore it is for you upon Earth to emulate this eternalstream of consciousness that is the mind of God outpicturedthrough the many merged into the One. In the diverse expres-sions of the creative spirit of that Holy Spirit through eachascended one, we maintain the thread of contact between thedivine world and yours. If this divine Brotherhood did not exist,there would be the crumbling of the holy order of man and woman.

Therefore through resonance, through compassion, throughhearts that are attuned by a listening ear and heart, sustain thestrength of your bonding, one to another, in community, in thesangha. For thereby you can know what true brotherhood is, what true sisterhood can be, even as we know it, even as weexperience it, even as we share it with you day by day throughour many discourses, offerings, and graces.

Beloved Afra, what were the spiritual practices of the blue and violet races thatwere used to commune with the Divine?

The spiritual science of invocation, of drawing forth thepower of the ray of God as the blue frequency of light, was

the primary spiritual practice of the blue race. For through thethroat chakra, light was born and made manifest. This you knowfrom the first statement of creation recorded in your Holy Bible,when God said, “Let there be light.” Did you know that thatlight in that hour was qualified with the blue fire of the first ray?Yes, it is so.

Therefore all evolutions of the blue-ray race resonate withthe science of invocation and the powerful stream of God-energythat descends through the hallowed throat chakra of the priest orpriestess of the sacred fire who invokes that light. In addition tothis holy invocation of divine fire, those of the first ray wereadepts of movement. For movement, in a great acrobatic demon-stration of virya, allows that light to flow in many frequencies, in all directions, and through the creative process in which one is engaged.

You see even within chaos the movement of light in a mean-dering and yet awesome demonstration of power, creating higherfractals through which spiritual essences emerge and streamforth. The science of fractals is a science of the blue ray, and only

those whose mind frequency vibrates at a very high level can cognize it and see the geometry of God manifesting through it.

The primary spiritual practice of those of the seventh ray is alchemy. This alchemy is freedom to express within the labo-ratory of the soul the awesomeness of all God-realities. Thisalchemy involves many sciences and therefore interpenetrates, asI have said before, all of the rays. There is actually a summing upof the utilization of all spiritual practices within holy alchemywhereby all is transformed within the seventh-ray solar fire ofviolet joy. Joy itself, though some consider it an aspect of theemerald ray, is also magnified and accelerated within the seventh-ray aspect of God. There is a bubbling action of light within forgiveness and the ritual of compassionate letting go that is theflame of mercy, which is a stupendous utilization of love, ampli-fied and multiplied to the max.

Have you considered forgiveness as a spiritual practice? It is powerful. Within the highest levels of self-forgiveness, youcontact your Higher Self, whereby you can focus on being anarbiter for the alchemy of reconciliation between hearts. Divinebeings such as Kuan Yin, Holy Amethyst, Virginia, and Portiademonstrate the science and the spiritual practice of compassion-ate and merciful forgiveness through the alchemy of love. It is apowerful unguent, a divine formula, and acts as a sacred elixirthat neutralizes all that is anti-God within its flow and trans-mutes, on contact, darkness into light.

Beloved Afra, what are the deeper astrological, spiritual, social, and political factors behind the Atlantic slave trade and European colonization in Africa?

There is no injustice in the universe, and therefore every eventunfolding has its source in and correlation with

energy that has been expended and thereby resulted in its effect.Those who were enslaved during that time, as you may guess,were the enslavers of others in the past. The lessons learned arefor all to understand the results of their choices. If a person doesnot choose to ennoble each and every soul through holy respectand reverence, to honor the integrity of God within each one,and to work as a co-creator within this Earth, that one mustexperience the karmic return of that energy and learn that the only way out is through forgiveness, love, compassion, andservice.

Those who enslave others, in whatever age, must eventuallycome to grips with their choices and actions and be enslaved insubsequent embodiments until the cycle is broken. Through loveand the understanding of the law of karma, right choices aremade, forgiveness is sought, service is rendered, and a new divineand higher spiral of light is created beyond the bonds of karma.

The choice for every sentient being is to determine to live inlight and to abide in a brotherly spirit of cooperation rather than


in competition for resources, for land, for anything. That is whythe spirit of brotherhood must be taught in its essence and thelaw of karma inculcated within all world cultures and societies,so that mankind are not blinded by perverse cultural identities,clouded by past inferences and suggestions, and caught in thetrappings of tribal banalism.

All men and women are brothers and sisters and of the sameFather-Mother God. When, O mankind, will you see this equa-tion and know your Source? When you know that all are of theOne, then you cannot hurt another. When you know that all areof the same seed of light, then you cannot destroy another with-out destroying yourself. When you enslave or seek to use anotherwithout that one’s freewill permission being given, then thekarma must return until you learn the lesson that free will isparamount. It is an inalienable right that every culture mustaccept, realize, and demonstrate in its ways and in its workings.

Each of you must wipe from the Earth the seed of your ownpersonal enslavement to your not-self. And as you dissolve andtransmute the seed of darkness within, you will create a new wayof light for the freedom and enlightenment of all people and allcultures. Look not outside of self to see the reasons that slaveryhas manifested; see within yourself that you are constantlyenslaving God within a thoughtform, a feeling, or an expressionof darkness that is not divine. Root out this self-enslavement, andthen you will see slavery abolished from the Earth and manifest-ing no more in any realm.

It begins and ends within your heart in the sacred process ofself-identification with God, with your holy core essence ofdivine beingness. Free yourself from all that is not of God andthereby you free all in the process. As you become God-freethrough right action, right choice, right livelihood, right speech,and all that the Buddha has taught, your liberation is manifested


and all of the chains of the past are broken, even as a new, divinegolden-crystal chain of light linking every heart, one with God, emerges.

Brotherhood is this hierarchical chain of integrity, which isnot an enslavement between the hearts of men; it is the sacredbond of which I have already spoken. As you uncreate slaverywithin self, you create a new level of freedom for all. Realize yourpurpose in God—to be free, to soar in light.

Beloved Afra, how did you love people free?

Isaw God within them and strongly held the field of godlyintent for them within my heart so that God within them

moved them unto their own freedom. When you love with a lovethat embraces God, that is God in its core, people feel that loveas a sacred movement and dance, as an energy field of beingness,and they are impressed with and blessed with that light of love. I of myself can do nothing;3 it is the God-essence of love thatflows through my heart that is the doer, that is the unraveler ofdarkness and the re-creator of freedom for that one. I loved free-dom in its essence within the soul of the one for whom I prayed.I prayed, and through that prayer the blessing flowed.

Therefore, first know yourself as God, love yourself as God,free yourself by God’s grace, and then extend that field of God,of love, and of freedom to every lifestream. Because when youknow your Self, you also know the Higher Self of all, and thereis a co-relation of light that charges, through the power of yourintent, that light of freedom within the soul. It is the sparking ofa new God-identity within the soul of the one for whom youprayed—by your intent, by your great God-desire, through love,to aid and assist that one.

Do you love fireworks? I think that all enjoy this expressionof light in the skies. Consider being the one who lights each oneof those fireworks. Though you may not always be able to see the

results of your work—for you are busy lighting many fire-crackers—others will see that expression of fire in the heavens.And one day, as you pass the torch to another here and anotherthere to also light the wick of that firecracker, you will be able toenjoy the results of your work by observing the freedom of thesoul whom you loved. For that one received an impetus of lightthrough your service, your sacrifice, your surrender, and yourselflessness. Ruby love lights the fire of freedom within the soul.Ruby love is an active love, a powerful love that levels the playingfield of all so that everyone can be a participant in God’s love, inGod’s game of life.

Beloved Afra, how did you maintain mindfulness of your oneness with God on a daily basis?

Ifelt God’s love present within my heart, and his Spirit withinmy soul. I sat in great awe of the goodness and the all-being-

ness of the Divine, and I looked to the sun and I saw within thatsun a violet stream entering my own soul and nourishing my soultoward its purpose. I allowed the cosmic stream of radiance ofthis eternal freedom flame to grow within me daily. I felt itsimpulse stamped upon every cell of my being, activating thehighest frequencies of solar joy within me so that those untowhom I was sent in my mission could feel that spirit of solar joyemanating even unto them.

If you can visualize this stream of solar joy at the level ofyour soul emanating constantly in a cosmic activity of sacred fire,you can raise the entire astral plane by the momentum of lightthat you carry within your being on behalf of God. It takes conscious presence and awareness to see that violet stream bub-bling, radiating forth, transmuting, and raising life at all levels.Many speak of Solar awareness as the Sun Presence of divine loveradiating forth from the heart, and yet this is a different kind ofactivity than that which emanates through the soul chakra. I carry this energy and wield this godly power through my beingalways. I developed this over many years, decades, and even


centuries through complete identification with my Source, withthe Sun of my own being and of God.

Let your soul sing to humanity throughout the day andthroughout the night. Let your soul move on the cosmic wind asit affirms godly beingness, truth, and the higher way of light tothe souls of those whom you have been sent to serve. Let soulful-ness emerge as an ideal within all spiritual practices. Soulfulnesswill be a new commodity in the Aquarian Age. And those whoare truly soulful, full of God within their soul, will be known bythe expressions that their soul emanates and sings every momentas blessedness, as grace, as integrity, and as honor for the divinitywithin all.

You can often feel this soulfulness—as if it were a call fromthe depths of being unto the very Void and the Source of all—inthe deep baritone and bass voices of those who have mastered thescience of sound through operatic and other singing. You maypractice soulfulness in your speech, in your singing, and even inyour walk as you feel the soul of the Earth moving within yoursoul, the energies of the Mother herself flowing within you.

Study the soul. Write treatises on your own Solar develop-ment and your path by recording these impulses. Share what youhave received of the flowering of that divinity through the poetryof the spirit, through verse, singing, or any creative endeavor.Even within the Anastasia series of books,4 you see conveyedsomething of that soul essence that can begin to bring mankindback to their earliest origins in God and their understanding ofthe eternal nature of beingness through the development of thesoul as an aspect of the Spirit.

Begin somewhere and allow this lifelong study to be onethat, through your hearts, will move humanity forward in theirsolar evolution and in light.

Beloved Afra, what is the nature of thewhite light that blazes from your heartchakra, as well as the white light at the

base of our threefold flame, at the base-of-the-spine chakra, at the center of each

of our chakras, and at the center of our Solar Presence?

The white light is the eternal flame of divinity within thebeingness of every created son and daughter of the Most

High God. This white light diffuses itself within the center ofevery cell as the centrosome, or solar center, of each living entitythat comprises the body of God, worlds without end in themacrocosm; and, infinitesimally and microcosmically, within thetiniest particle of substance and energy. This is the living realityof God’s Presence as a frequency, which you know as light. It isthe harmonic representation of the essence of God.

From the base chakra the Mother light ascends and nourish-es your entire being, and this is true for all, as all have withinthem the polarity of the Father-Mother principle. Look at yourplanet and see that you have a north and south pole and howimportant it is to maintain the balance of the Father-Mother frequencies for the harmony, equilibrium, and sustaining of thegeophysical stability of your Earth. You are all made in the image


of God, as is your planet and all suns, and there is this bipolardynamic within your being. If you could see your aura in thishour, you would see the emanation of currents as they radiatearound and through you, and you would see the north and thesouth nodes of this bipolar energy field.

When you maintain harmony within your being, there is acrystal clarity that exists within your aura and your life, and youcan be a vessel for a great transfer of divine love, wisdom, andpower to all life because of this harmonic balance of your ownbeing. This is natural, and all created beings suffuse this essenceof light and life through their beings when they are living in harmony. It is only through a disconnection from Source that adeterioration begins in this energy field, resulting in what you seeas disease, decay, and ultimately death. Therefore the preeminentrequirement to sustain life at its highest level is harmony. Wheneach and every one of you, as a God-created being, understandsthe dynamic of this equation, you will set in motion values andprinciples that guide you in all of your efforts and in the way in which you live so that harmony, being the first law of life, issustained throughout your being.

Look at your own body and see that when your cells live inharmony within your bloodstream, tissues, organs, and systems,there is perfect health and well-being. Yet where there is any dissonance or discord, there is an effect within your blood ofcoagulation and the entry of substances that do not allow the freeflow of the life-giving essence within you whereby you can main-tain perfect health and well-being. This essence of white lightflows like a river of life, a crystalline, nourishing stream. Whenyou see it flowing through you as joy, as levity, as exuberance, aspositivity, as a co-creative spirit, and as an endowment of yourown individualization of grace from the heart of God and youemploy these gifts and graces of the Spirit in your life, there is anatural unfoldment of your divine plan and all comes into balance within your world in all areas.

As you have seen within the economies of the nations, andwithin society as a whole, the introduction of methodologies thatare not in harmony with the law of life, of balance, and of being-ness, there you have also seen an interruption in the naturalunfoldment of cycles of abundance and of the systems that arerequired to maintain a harmonic state within your world. Thissame law applies in many dimensions and planes of being. Whenyou apply the divine principle of harmony—which is inherent inbrotherhood—in your affairs, you will see all coming into balance once again within your world.

Be self-observant throughout the day to see when it is thatyou are in alignment with your highest purposes, with the innerchild of your heart, with the natural impulses that flow throughyour heart as kindness, compassion, and a gentle spirit, and youwill see how life flows through you unabated. Also be observantof those times when, through irritation or focus upon anythingless than God, there comes that point of identification with darkness that brings in harmony in some way into your world.Self-correct by allowing the God-flame within you to love youand to wash you clean, for it is God’s intent that you always livewithin pure love and this essence of life. It is the Father’s goodpleasure to give you the kingdom, God’s consciousness.5 And ifit is God’s pleasure, then make that pleasure your own through alife lived to the glory of God, within God’s Spirit, within God’slife-energizing frequency of solar joy.

I am here as an example to you of one who has attained a level of harmony through brotherhood, which all may attain by conscious effort, application, and striving in unity towardoneness, nonduality, and perfect beingness in God.

Beloved Afra, could you tell us of your life on the African continent

before your ascension?

Oholy brothers and sisters, it matters not so much whereI walked and what I did five hundred thousand, seventy

thousand, and thirty-six thousand years ago, when I took myascension on November 1, according to your calendar.6 Whatmatters is that you walk in the light; that you radiate the fire of beingness; that you practice the law of Solar beingness, of presence; and that you lay a foundation for thousands and evenmillions of souls who are temporarily lost in unconsciousness so that they may eventually rise into this new awareness of holy brotherhood.

How will you be the instrument for the Lord to unite peoples in every nation? That is for each of you to answer. It isfor you to understand your holy purpose in the here and nowand, with great God-determination, to be a beacon of hope tomankind as you come to the fore to proclaim this new hope andnew options for unity.

You must see yourselves truly as the God-men and God-women that you are, ennobled in God’s eyes with a mantle oflight and a radiance of fire within you. This will make the differ-ence day by day in whatever alchemy you are engaged in, in whatever sphere of influence in the world to which you bring your heart to bear, one with mine. It is through little acts


of kindness and the generosity of the spirit that you enflame thehearts of all holy brothers and sisters to know the great God-flame of their Solar Source, their Higher Self, their GodPresence. It is through simple acts of kindness, grace, humility,and service that you bring the light of Afra in a tangible way to mankind.

It is truly in service and in laying down your life, time andtime again, by bowing to the light of the Christ within othersthat they will see this opportunity for self-transcendence and thattheir lives will have meaning—being honest in the new integrityof the spirit, being true to the inner path and the voice of divinereason within, and being fulfilled in a mission of light that singsthrough their voice, through their mind, and through their heartto the one and to the many.

Therefore, though you have many questions of the past, I bring you to the Now of the very present reality of your ownopportunity for greater beingness and presence, and I open adoor to the future and the possibilities for greater unity amongall of my peoples worldwide. And I say to the very souls of thosewho are spread across the Earth, unite as one under the bannerof unity and of the One God—I AM THAT I AM, Yahweh,Allah, Jehovah, Nuk Pu Nuk—and live within his sacred gaze asholy brothers and sisters.
