Flight and Train Connection

The ideal airport is Pisa or Florence. The best way to continue your journey is by train. In Lucca

you have an easy connection to Ponte a Moriano, which is only 5 minutes drive rom the Center.

Many trains rom Pisa do stop in Ponte a Moriano. We are happy to send you more inormation

regarding train tables. There is the possibility or a pick up at the trainstation in Ponte a Moriano.

Please inorm us in advance regarding your arrival.

Directions from Lucca to the Center

Please contact us or carpool possibility rom Germany, Switzerland, Spain, etc.

Exit Lucca Est (East). Ater the Toll Plaza you will come to a stop sign. Turn let to Lucca centro

and the SS-12 Abetone. Go through a set o trac lights and cross over the bridge. When

you reach the roundabout head let in the direction o SS-12 Abetone. You are now on the

circumnavigation road around Lucca and should be able to see the City Walls.

The Center is located a short way up the hills above the town o Ponte a Moriano approx 10 km

North o Lucca o the road SS-12 to Abetone. Follow the Lucca circumnavigation road in the

direction o signs to SS-12 Abetone.

Head towards Abetone,on the Via Civilale. At this point you will leave the walls o Lucca. Follow

this road,which becomes the Via Brennero,or about 6 km towards Abetone. You will come to a

large roundabout with a large Supermarket (Esselunga).Take the exit or Ponte a Moriano.

Keep going straight ahead or about 1 km and ater passing Rebecca and entering Ponte aMoriano look or an ice cream shop with umbrellas on your let, take the immediate right turn

opposite the icecream shop and you will see a small town square with car parking on the let.

Keep going straight along this street over a train crossing until you come to a stop sign. Follow

the blue signs in the direction o Tramonte and Palmata. Shortly you will see another sign to

Tramonte and Convento dell’Angelo. Follow this road a ew hundred yards to the Center. The

road climbs and there is a tight curve to the right that ollows the tall wall o the Center on the

let. The road curves sharply to your let and immediately thereater there is a gray wrought iron

gate, Via Tramonte 375 and an drive way leading past a three story red house( The Boccellina).This drive way is the entrance to Center.

Directions from Pisa Airport to Lucca

Follow the green signs towards Autostrada A-12 / Genova-Livorno. Take A-12 North towards

Genova. At the Pisa Nord ollow signs to Autostrada A-11 Firenze. Follow the highway or about

16 Km and exit Lucca Est (East).

Ater the Toll Plaza you will come to a stop sign. Turn let to Lucca centro and the SS-

Directions from Florence to LuccaThe Florence Airport is located in the north o Florence, at the interchange with Autostrada 1

( Roma – Bologna – Milano ), ollow the green Autostrada signs to A-11 West in the direction

Pisa Nord / Viareggio. I you are coming rom inside Florence ollow the direction o Autostrada

A-11. Ater 60 Km exit the Lucca Est / SS-12 Abetone). Ater leaving the Toll Plaza you will come

to a stop sign. Follow the signs to Lucca Centro and SS -12 Abetone. You will drive through some

trac light and cross a bridge. At a roundabout head let in the direction o SS-12 Abetone. You
