Canada’s landfills are overflowing, as you can see from these pictures.

Also, places that were open land are filling up with garbage.

Almost 67.2% of waste in Canada ends up in a landfill. Canadians produce almost 31 million tones of garbage each year and only 30% gets recycled.

How We Can HelpThe grade 6 class is organizing a litter-less lunch from Oct. 17- Oct.20.

These foods may look good, but the plastic wrappers are terrible for the environment.

This is the kind of lunch that you should try to pack for that week.
