Process: Welding

• Connector board for cell connection is pre

assembled

• Aluminium busbars are cliped into a

polymer carrier

• Welding of busbars to the cell measuring

system

• Connector board is attached on top of the

cell stack which is glued on the cooling plate

• Aluminium busbars are laser welded onto

the cell terminals.

• All weld beads are controlled optically by

a surface scanner
