If you just hit reply to an e-mail sent to the listserv (see arrow) then you will reply to the

WHOLE list because….

The “Reply-to” line (see arrow) has

UVMCATS@list.uvm.edu on it. SO….

THE BASICS: Continued some more…

The easiest way to reply to an e-mail from the listserv is to click on the e-mail address in the “From” line. In this example (see arrow) the address is justin.bayer@uvm.edu

Conclusion

• If you need to send something out to the entire list go for it but if we can avoid having the majority of the e-mails we deal with on the listserv the world will be a much happier place!
