COORDINADOR(A) DE PROGRAMA-OUTREACH JUNTOS COORDINATOR

(Madras) Inviting applications for a part-time (.75 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term Outreach

Program Coordinator position. Located primarily in Madras with some work throughout

Central Oregon, the Juntos program provides Latino parents and 8-12th grade students

with knowledge and resources to graduate from high school and gain access to college

through a 6-week hands-on program. Juntos also provides weekly afterschool clubs and

activities with the target students before and after the 6-week program. Coordinator's

main focus: to provide local leadership, coordination and foster partnerships needed to

advance and sustain the campus goals and the Juntos program. Tasks involve meeting

with local officials, education and community agencies, employers and economic

development staff, etc. Duties include program coordination (40%), administrative and

program leadership (25% each), and technology, service and other (total 10%). Required:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Education Admin, Adult Education, Extension

Education, or related field; Bilingual (English/Spanish) and Bicultural; Ability to engage

Spanish speaking audiences; Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication

skills including electronic and printed mass media, etc. Closes 7/13/15.
