Malaysia is a major exporter of high quality rubber products.
Malaysia has successfully progressed from largely an exporter
of raw natural rubber to an exporter of a wide range of value-
added rubber products. Malaysia is also widely recognized for
its competitiveness in meeting the world’s demand for high
quality rubber and rubber products.
With sound manufacturing practices and continuous
innovation, Malaysian manufacturers have proven
themselves capable of adapting to meet specific customer
requirements. Today, Malaysia is world's largest exporter of
medical gloves, condoms and rubber catheters.
The Malaysian rubber industry also has the advantage of R&D
support and testing laboratories provided by the Rubber
Research Institute of Malaysia (RRIM) and the Tun Abdul
Razak Research Center (TARRC) in the United Kingdom.
