• Applied for consent to Operate for expansion from 0.25 MTPA to 0.3 MTPA

• Existing unit consent for production of coal 0.23 MTPA was valid up to 31.5.2011.

• Inspite of repeated reminders SRO Nagpur/RO Nagpur has not submitted the requisite

information about the compliance of Consent conditions, EC conditions, results and

other details. In view of non-receipt of information we may issue show cause notice for

refusal of consent.

• Earlier the case was discussed in C.C. meeting held on 18.01.2013 and it was decided to keep the case in abeyance till information received from R.O. /SRO, Nagpur-I. SRO. Nagpur-I vide letter dated 16.03.2013 has submitted the report and recommended renewal of consent with amalgamation of Consent to Operate expansion.

• In view of above and R.R.Z. satisfaction, we may grant Consent to Operate for 0.3 MT/A capacity for period up to 31.05.2014 with Operational Bank Guarantee of Rs.5/- lakhs.

waste-generation-143.04 Kg/dat. STP sludge-53.64 Kg/day. Septic tank followed by gravity sand filtration & activated carbon filtration system &

chemical disinfection system is provided. Treated sewage partly used for plantation in

premises & excess disposed into PCMC drainage system. PP has not obtained EC & some of the construction work is completed without

Board’s consent (N-6). Board has called information from RO Pune vide letter dated-31/10/2012.

RO/SRO-Pune Since the project is not having EC & some of the construction work is

completed without Boards consent. Decision for grant of consent may be taken at higher

level. Recommendation of HQ- May be considered with B.G as per protocol.

o Similarly justification about the points raised on NS/15 to be called from industry/RO.

We may consider the case for renewal by amalgamation of both the consents with change in CI by forfeiting existing BG of Rs 1 lakhs and imposing fresh BG of Rs 2 lakhs towards O & M of ETP.

synthetic amino acids & thus comes under the category of specialty chemicals and thus

IIT Mumbai has given certificate of non-applicability of E.C.

6. Industry now has requested that if E.C is applicable, they will get the same for which 12

to 18 months period is required. Hence requested not to take any action against the

industry till then.

7. The case was submitted before committee dtd-18/01/2013 for taking suitable decision

about grant of consent as proposed by the proponent.
